Gutted they changed these biscuits
Why oh whhhhyyy did they change it to a single Fussy biscuit?? The aroma biscuits were fish flavour, these are poultry, and my cats just dont enjoy it like the aroma ones which were also smaller and easier to eat.
After nearly 11 years I am really struggling to find a biscuit they enjoy and and one of my cats doesnt really eat wet food so this is a total nightmare.

Phew!
I was worried about the changes because obviously, a fussy cat automatically means they don't like change. Saffy sniffed it and knew it was different (she always had the aroma exigent because she's not a foody) so backed off. But then came back and accepted it. I now think she prefers it. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I don't understand why they did. Especially messing about with the fussy cat food. One star deducted for changing the recipe.

It makes my cat throw up
Since changing from Exigent Aroma (now discontinued), I tried one of my cats on this and he's far less interested in this new option. He's now regularly throwing up. As I see it, this was changed to help the company make more money, and not to make it better for my cat's health. Prove me wrong Royal Canin!

Fussy
My cat used to eat Savour Exigent I was concerned when I went to purchase it and found it had been discontinued figured out that Fussy was its replacement mixed both Exigent and Fussy for the first week until my cat adapted to the new food no problem with her eating it she empty’s the full dish by the end of the day .

The new formula is awful
As a foster for a kitty rescues for decades I've sworn on Royal canin exigent savour sensation as the kibble I use.
So much so I've bought it myself as its been too expensive for rescues to buy. At one point I was going through over 20kg a month, but it was so good I didn't mind.
This change is awful, every cat in the house apart from one NOT eating the RC has been vomiting, varying degrees of it, but every single one.
2 sacks from different batches were tried, both equally terrible

My fussy cat doesn't like it
My fussy cat used to eat old version for 9 years. Doesn't like new version so much. Why change it??

my girlfriends cat wont eat the new lesser version of this.
Why did they change the product with lesser quality ingredients? My girlfriend has spoiled her cat and he will not eat this new version of the product. Why they changed the product is anyones guess, but it looks like it was done to cut costs. This is very disappointing. As soon as a company starts cutting corners and sacrificing the quality of the product so that they can make more money, it's time to switch to another brand.

Cats not happy
Ordered this as the original Fussy cats Exigent has now been discontinued. My cats (10 in total) won’t touch it. I used to order approximately 15 bags x 10 kilo of the old one. I guess Royal Canin are happy to lose my business now as will swap to cheaper makes that does get eaten.

Why discontinue Savour Exigent?
Our cats loved Savour Exigent but won’t touch this new recipe. Looks like I’m done with Royal Canin

Cat's hate it
My cats have been getting royal canin exigent protein for a long time. Now it's been discontinued. And it's called fussy. I don't know why it's called fussy because its a load of shit. Thanks royal canin I will never buy you crap cat food again.

Why did they change it ?!!!
My cats loved both the savour exigent and aroma. Could not find them any more. Discovered they had ended those products for this fussy brand. My cats will not touch it. I contacted Royal Canin and they basically said "sorry, not sorry". It's probably cheaper content. Why change such a popular biscuit for an inferior one ?. Cats won't eat it unless they like it.

Disappointing. Rubbish Product
This is a new product from Royal Canin. It replaces the three different exigent varieties that they had on offer. My cats loved the Savour Sensation variety which is now withdrawn. They turn their noses up at this as soon as I put it on the floor. Compared to Savour Sensation this has more fat and more protein. The kibble is darker and the shape is different. WARNING. Don't think that this is a direct replacement it is not. In my experience giving one my cats extra protein makes them sick

Not the same as savoir exigent
My cats loved savoir exigent but hate fussy exigent. I’m trying to find a replacement but but they are too picky. I’m desperate.

Where has Savour Exigent gone
All my cats loved savour exigent. They won't touch fussy exigent. Even the ferals don't like it and just pick at it. Very disappointed.

Why change the product?
My two cats would only eat Savour Exigent. Now it’s called Fussy Exigent - different kibble, clearly different taste and smell and they don’t like it. They are even using the old savour Exigent over fresh fussy. Despairing

Clearly very tasty but also very expensive
I got a sample of this with points. I was nearly at the bottom of a bag of dry food and it is always hard to get my cats to finish the bag. Easy when it is first opened, but even thought I only buy small bags, they think it is stale by the second week. Added this and suddenly the bowl was empty. Of both the old and new. I wouldn't pay for a huge bag though. £72? I'm sure they'd hate it by the time they got to the bottom of that bag!

Cat hates this.
My cat loved Aroma Exigent, which has been discontinued and replaced by this Fussy Cat. Its hasn't impressed my own fussy cat in the slightest. She wint touch it.

Very fussy madam ate the lot
There have been times my cupboard looks like a pet shop stock cupboard with all the dried food I've bought tried and my 12 year old has got tired of or refused. She's been ok with some of the Royal Canin Aroma and Hair and Skin dried food but never has she woofed down dried food like she does with fussy. Happy cat.... Happy owner.
