I did a previous review but it hasn’t been listed?? I have fed my cats purizon for 7 years and they have always loved it. I ordered the most recent pack, the double version as it’s always been good and better value. Firstly I noticed the zip close has gone. Secondly the food has changed. It’s not as moist as it was and a different size. I have had my cats sick more than usual and the only thing that has changed is this food. other reviews state the same. Have reported as Im concerned.

Ordered the double pack of this for my cats as they have loved this for years. It seems drier than before and the lack of the zip lock is a nightmare for keeping the food fresh. Now my cats won’t touch it and when I mix it with another flavour they are sick and have the worst smelling poo. I really don’t trust this anymore.

Have been buying this food for years, and my cats have always loved it. Since the summer, Purizon have permanently (I've been told) changed the recipe. It is now not as popular (whereas my cats used to fight over it!), the bag is no longer resealable, plus since the recipe change, my partner's cat has suffered with colitis, vomiting, had a vet visit, and is now on a hypoallergenic diet (which may or may not be a coincidence). I won't be buying this food for my cats again.

My cats used to love this - they still do, but after feeding them from a new bag delivery yesterday one has diarrhoea and the other is scooting on her bum. I won’t be feeding them this again.

Unfortunately, I experienced the same issue with my order from 13/06/2025 as other reviewers. This was my third time ordering this packaging, but this time the bag is not resealable, which is very strange and inconvenient given the size. What concerns me more, however, is the change in color and granule size. In addition, it cracks more easily and causes problems with the auto-feeder, where it often gets stuck. I’m now looking for a substitute.

New formula, no resealable packaging and has given both my cats diarrhoea! Won't be purchasing again!

Nightmare as product not the same or even the same colour ! Cats hate it and bag not resealable . Been waiting for Zooplus to get back to me for over a week . Sent another bag and exactly the same . Need a refund .Not acceptable as cats been on this original sterilised chicken and fish for years . Now losing weight . Not supposed to just change their diet suddenly but had no other food left .

This has been my cats go-to for years. Now the 6.5kg bag is not resealable, seriously??? I've never seen so much left behind. Very poor form.

Just wondering if anyone else out there has had a problem with the latest batch of Purizon sterilised chicken & fish. New packaging without resealable zip. Different colour, also cat put his nose up. Eventually got him to eat but now has diarrhoea. Got another bag sent to replace and exactly same batch and issues with cat.

I usually feed my British Blue Royal Canine, This has really good reviews so bought a trial pack. He loves it. Will definitely buy again.

My 9yr old sterilised cat Miya refuses to eat this no matter how trying to introduce it, even preferring to go without any food. My Dachshund Rolo eats anything apart from raspberries lol, when I gave him a biscuit of this food to try to encourage the cat he put it in his mouth three times and again spat it back out. Stunned me he wouldn’t eat it at all either, sadly this food is a fail in this house. Hopefully other cats eat it fine though! 1 star would be harsh so 2 instead

Love this food, my bengal x savannah always demolishes it!

I’ve used this product before with no issues, but this bag had a mix of kibble of different sizes and when I queried with the manufacturer, it appears that it has been mixed with other kibble including kitten kibble - if you have this product and the size of kibble is not uniform, it may also be affected. I’m still waiting for the manufacturer to resolve this.

My cat eating this food every day and love it. The size of food it’s small witch is great as my cat don’t chews properly

Reviving this food with very short expiry date. The production date is 07/2022. And expiry 01/2024. I am bought 6.5 kg bag on 10/2023 with expiry only for 3 months. Please inform the customers about this dates.

My cat normally won't eat dry cat food - there's always a bowl to supplement her wet food diet if she's hungry or I'm home late. I got these with Zooplus points thinking it was a treat food like dreamies - she absolutely adored it and ate a bowlful. Will definitely be buying her some more.

Sadie is a fickle Russian Blue princess but Purizon is one kibble she devours without complaint. So glad it's back at Zooplus after being unavailable for a while!
