After going off her royal canin diet and rapidly losing weight, this was the only food my KD cat would eat. She absolutely loves it and eats more of it than she did when she was on royal canin.

This food has had a positive impact on my elderly cats, & on the 24 year old cat I feed at work, who has had a second lease of playful life !

Bought this because my 15 year old cat was hesitating slightly before jumping up to the windowsill and she had a water infection earlier in the year. I'm currently mixing this with her normal senior dry food, and wow what a difference. She's acting half her age, running around like a crazy thing and playing with her toys. It's so lovely to see. Can't recommend this product enough

This stuff really works. Rosie is 18 and had taken to laboriously climbing the stairs, one step at a time. I just put it down to old age, until kidney function tests prompted the vet to recommend a change to special food to protect her kidneys, and we tried k+d & mobility. She now sprints up and down the stairs in almost one leap, in just one second she covers the entire flight of stairs and seems to really love being active again! I can't recommend it enough!!!

My senior cat loves this and is helping her with stiffnes in her legs. The price is very good and cheaper than anywhere else.

My cat has been on this now for over 6 months and she has just had some bloods for a recheck of her kidneys and the vet is very impressed with how she is doing. Cannot say how impressed I am with this food for her and seems to be working wonders on keeping her kidney function stable.

I have two 15 year old cats who are now on this full time. I tried royal canin but they went off that after a while (after I bought a massive bag of it of course) one cat is super fussy and has tummy issues when switched. She adores this food, has even put on weight and has been running around the flat like a kitten again. The other one loves it and her coat is looking much better after it recently became dry and flaky. I would def reccomend this over other brands if your new to kidney diets.

17 yr. old cats.- was prescribed pills for one of my cat's, Minni, vomited everywhere so stopped them. She eats this biscuit but won't touch the soft - however her twin sister will, so feed that to her mixed in water as it is so thick, and put a little Gourmet Gold Pate on top of it. Minni has to have Gourmet Gold Pate fish only. She does looks much better now as she was getting weak. When the soft has gone will just feed the dry and whatever they fancy with it! See how it goes.

My two 16 year olds love it & happily wolf it down! My girl has stage 2 kidney disease & chronic pain in her joints & my boy has occasional joint pains. This is ideal for them. Her bloodwork shows her kidney disease is stable & in combination with acupuncture her pain is managed. (His bloodwork shows his kidneys are fine) I think it's probably more cost effective than getting separate supplements & it's certainly easier giving them separate supplements!

always a bit sceptical about cat foods with supplements but OMG my ginger 12 year old cat could barely make it up the stairs and no longer jump on the sofa and bed , he was on cod liver oil but after a few weeks started up chucking so had to stop. now on this wonder food! he runs up stairs and can jump on our very high bed , he is still tender if we pick him up so we try not to , i buy the 5 kg bags and were on our third now well work the extra £

Got prescribed by a vet to put both of cats on this food. Definitely works. Healthy coat too. Make sure to follow feeding guidelines and feed amount of what weight the cat needs to be not the weight the cat already is.

When the vet prescribed this I was afraid my cats wouldn't eat it after years of their favourite Royal Canin dry food, but happily they like it even better!

When changing my pet’s food, I always proceed with caution. That’s why I gradually mixed the new food with the previous one, just as recommended. The transition went smoothly and I didn’t notice any unusual behaviour or digestive issues. Of course, the most important thing is the taste, and that was convincing. Lapka ate the food with great appetite and regularly finished the bowl.

My cat loves this food and tolerates it very well. Since switching, she's been doing much better. I'm happy with the quality and will definitely buy it again.

I tried out the food as part of a product test and would like to share my honest opinion. At first, my cats had clear difficulties accepting the food. Their acceptance was rather hesitant and it took quite some time before they even showed any interest. Unfortunately, one of my cats also developed a skin rash, so I had to stop giving her the food. My other cat is still eating it, but also only rather reluctantly.

My cat was very happy to try the cat food from the brand Hills. Because of her age, she usually has joint problems and isn’t a big eater. But she really enjoyed this dry food. I can definitely recommend it, as it met my cat’s needs.
