reformulated

This cat food is great quality, good source of protein and all that. But I believe this has recently been reformulated. The pieces are a lot smaller than before, with odd shapes and a lot of powder. Also, both my cats have started having very very very smelly poops since I noticed the difference in the food.

Very few Diabetic friendly dry foods

There are very few low carb dry food options so this is a god send. One of only 3 low carb variety’s of which I use all 3 depending on price at the time. 2 non diabetics eat it love it and lost weight on it( they had a small amount to lose anyway ) Diabetic cat is mainly on wet food low carb every 4 hours during day but I don’t have to worry about the grazers food being snaffled now. They refuse to comply with diabetic feeding routine point blanc

Best cat food!

For my slightly overweight British shorthair, I found the perfect cat food that is not oily, grain-free, and high in protein.

Not all the cats liked this

Unfortunately out of 8 cats only 4 would eat this, loads left after feeding. Shame.

Fussy cat loves it!

My cat has been consistently fussy with every single food type I’ve offered her but she’s been enjoying this one for six months now with absolutely no drama!

Some cats’ stomachs might be sensitive to this!

Our Maine Coon always has diarrhea after he eats this, but he’s sensitive to all dry foods so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. Our British shorthair X is completely fine. However, the pieces are pretty small and the shape makes them roll around a lot making it hard for the cats to eat!

Smelly farts

My 3 Maine Coon cats love it but it gives them horrible bloating and smelly farts.

Great quality food, but cats tummies didn't like it!

Both my cats liked this and ate it up, but it makes them fart something rotten! It's a really good quality food with a mest content you don't find in other dry foods. Will try to push past the flatulence and hope it improves!

Seems like my cats don't like them

This was the first time we tried this type of dry food. I bought the small 400g bag, and on the first try, my cat only ate 6g out of the 14g portion I gave her. The other one refused it completely.

Okay in small quantities

The croquettes have very good ingredients and a cylindrical shape, which is different from most croquettes. My cat only eats them in small amounts. I tried to make a transition, but she picks them out and leaves them in the bowl. She eventually eats them.

A must-read for feeding your cat right

These kibbles are great, perfect composition, 57% protein and animal-based too, but I ran into a problem with my cat: when I gave them to him by hand as treats, he loved them. In the bowl, he turned his nose up at them, and then I realised something really simple: these kibbles are crunchy, but when the cat eats them from the bowl, he gets saliva on them and the ones underneath go soft, and he doesn’t like that. The trick is to only put a small amount in at a time and it works perfectly 👌🏼

Cats eat with gusto

Our cats are almost 1 year old, so it's time for the next (eating) phase. We chose Feringa Adult Cold-Pressed Chicken Cat Food as their new food. One cat couldn't wait when I opened the packaging and jumped at it as if it were cat treats. Her sister needed a few days to get used to it and initially preferred the 'old' food, but now happily eats along. I gradually mixed the new food with the old food, and the transition went well, just 2 days of slightly soft stools.

Drop in quality

It used to be great, my kitties ate it for 2 years, but they've suddenly dropped the quality drastically, and now all my cats have uncontrollable diarrhoea. A disaster. I don't recommend it at all.

Rubbish creates more rubbish

Based on the product description, this should be excellent food, and the pellet is wonderfully neat to give to cats, for example, in an activity game. But the faeces! Just as much comes out as goes in, the smell is absolutely unbearable and the consistency is like cow manure. Even when I give this with diarrhoea medicine, the cats’ faeces are still so horribly smelly, sticky and slippery that no one could live in the same household. I have five cats, whose stomachs work brilliantly with other high-quality foods.

No success

Two of my cats won't eat it, and the third one got really bad diarrhoea from it. I even had to throw away most of the trial pack.

It gave my cats diarrhoea

My cats hated it from the very first minute, but the poor things ate a bit anyway. Then I started noticing they had really bad diarrhoea, so I stopped giving them this food and everything went back to normal.

good protein product

This product is the closest to Amikinos kibble, very high in protein and with a good fat content, so it's really, really healthy.

Unfortunately, diarrhoea…

My cat absolutely loved these kibbles, and the ingredients are really good too. I thought I’d finally found the perfect kibble for him, especially since they’re not rock hard. Brilliant. So I decided to order two more bags. However, after a week he suddenly got really bad diarrhoea, which has never happened before. I hope I can return the extra bags I ordered. It’s not bad food, but unfortunately my cat just can’t handle it. Such a shame!

Top food

At first, I was sceptical because my cats are very picky. But since one of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes, I had to change their food. There’s hardly any dry food that’s suitable, but Feringa Chicken is. The food was very well received and the others eat it happily too. However, it’s only used as a supplement to wet food. But my three darlings love it.
