Trixie Snack Popper

I bought this for my pets didn’t realise it was going to be that size, but the main thing was my cats and dog ran off as soon as I started to wheel it; it’s so noisy they wouldn’t come anywhere near it! Poor product which I need to send back.

Got this for our very playful and food driven cat, but the mechanics were difficult for a 4kg cat to manage. I had to push it for him, would be much better suited to large cats or small dogs because of the strength needed to give it a nudge.

I bought 3 toys to help with my cats over grooming. This is the only one that worked as it should. He learnt quickly that moving it rather than digging it worked

The idea is nice, but the video in the advert is misleading. There it looks like it rolls smoothly for quite a distance, while in reality it only rolls a few centimetres and then needs quite a firm push to release another treat. It's supposed to be for dogs and cats, but it's too heavy for cats.

My cats were super curious and excited again when their owner had ordered all sorts of things from Zooplus. Even though this thing is officially meant for dogs, I wanted to try it out with my cats. Result: one of my cats absolutely LOVES it & figured it out really quickly, my other cat isn’t interested at all. It’s definitely recommended for the cleverer cats who are willing to put in some effort for their treats. The only downside, but that’s just my taste: I find it too big and not very nice-looking.

Unfortunately, it's extremely hard to push and hardly manageable for a small dog. It's also a shame that you can only push it forwards and backwards, and not in any direction you want.

In a smaller version, it would definitely be great for cats, but as it is, unfortunately, it’s not suitable. Our tomcats had no idea what to do with the huge thing. They didn’t even try to push it or get to the treats. Sadly, I had to give it away.

Creative, not your everyday intelligence toy, that’s why I chose it. Two of our dogs “tested” it. Basically, they liked it, but it didn’t become their favourite. You can put different types of treats in it, and the lid is removable, so it’s easy to clean. However, the treats don’t always pop out, and the dogs tend to knock it over rather than push it around. It’s a bit noisy, so more timid dogs might enjoy it less.
