I got this one after one of my little chaos goblins chewed through the string on the other wand toy. It is (mostly, see below) hardwearing, stands up well to daily "hunting" and takes standard feather refills. One issue did occur just after purchase. The tip, where the cable attaches, came off completely. I didn't want to wait for an exchange, so I just glued it back into place. Since then, I've had no problems at all.

The wire got detached from the rod 5 min after receiving it! Such a shame, my cat started enjoying it 😞

While my cat absolutely loved this when he first played with it it also broke on the first day. I'm also concerned that the hook that attaches the toy to the metal cable is quite sharp where the wire bends around and at one stage it got stuck firmly in his fur. If that had been tongue or toe beans the result would've been much worse. Great idea but poorly made

The extendable rod and fishing line are great! Both made of metal and really good quality. But the little toy on the end lost its feathers after the first day! I just attached a different toy to the end, but still disappointing!

This toy is great for the cats as it has a strong telescopic handle with the toy being held on by metal wire so the cats can play ruff with it and it still holds strong plus cause its made from metal wire instead of fishing line it doesn't get tangled up. This toy is one of the best toys we have got our cats they have hours of fun.

Max, 7 years old, absolutely loves this. It has a really long reach and it is completely different to anything else that he has and he has many 😂😆 Great toy, great price.

The extended rod is really long and very easy to handle. Of course, the kitten was immediately interested, but even our shy 6-year-old tomcat got involved. The build quality seems good, but the weakest part is the "bait"—those three feathers. One of them broke straight away, and I'm worried the others will soon follow, so I'll probably have to make my own bait soon.

My cat loves this teaser wand, but of course he immediately broke the three feathers. I'm not giving it the highest rating because the much-advertised option to replace the "fly" would actually be useful—if replacement parts were available!

Apparently I was lucky, because both rods are still in top condition (bought about 4 months ago and played with daily), BUT the danglers! They break quickly or even arrive broken. Why aren’t there any replacement danglers?? That’s not sustainable. Please change this, selling them in packs of 3 would also make you money.

The thread doesn't screw onto the telescopic rod, it doesn't stay on at all. Product has a manufacturing defect.

The springs themselves broke quickly, after just a few play sessions. The rod itself broke after a month. At the same time, our cat really liked the wand and it was great that it could be folded up.

This was really fun for Mjauritz but it broke after maybe five days. :/

Ringo loves this one! He turns into a 14-year-old kitten when you pull it away from him, and he runs after it, hunts, and jumps.

I ordered two fishing rods and both broke quickly. One snapped in the middle, and with the second one, the connection between the metal rods came loose. Really disappointing.

Excellent toy, the telescopic stick is long, and the string is literally untangleable (at least I haven’t had any problems with it getting tangled so far). The cats love the toy and go wild playing with it. The only downside is that there’s no easy mechanism to change the feather attachment. But I suppose that’s intentional, because otherwise you’d never buy the toy again, just swap out different feather attachments. Of course, you can always MacGyver your way around this.

A high-quality and really sturdy metal toy wand, but there are no replacement heads for sale. 🤯 These kinds of feather toys don’t last long with a cat, but the quality and durable wand part would last for years. It doesn’t make sense—why make a durable wand if you can’t offer replacement feather parts??? I don’t want to keep buying a whole new wand every time the feather part gets torn off. It’s different if you’re just buying a €3-4 plastic wand again and again. The cats definitely loved it, but if you can’t get a new feather part, the fun is short-lived!

My cat almost never plays with the toys I buy for him, especially fishing rod toys. But he took to this one straight away. A real success!

I now have 3 of these. The rod itself is sturdy, the line is a thin wire. The range is great. Unfortunately, one rod was broken right out of the box (the connection between the rod and the wire) – there’s a thread, but glue is the only thing that helps. The feathers break easily because they’re glued tightly into the ball. Unfortunately, I can’t find any replacement attachments here.

The cats went absolutely crazy for this toy. However, after just a few play sessions over two days, a thin part of the rod snapped, making it unusable. The feathers also came off really quickly.
