Insights from real Pet Parents
AI-generated summary based on reviews added by customers
Cats are absolutely smitten with the feather wand, jumping into action and playing enthusiastically. However, some owners found the feathers and plastic bits could be sturdier, as they often come loose or break quickly. Despite these minor setbacks, the wand remains a favourite, with its colourful feathers and engaging design. Many pet owners keep buying them, as the cats simply can't get enough of the fun they provide!

Good toy
This as the pink and blue feather waggles is a much loved toy. However, the central mesh tubes ends within the feathers do sometimes attach themselves to the material inner of her tunnel making it slightly less easy to use than the multicoloured one.

Cats love it
As the other review mentioned the feathers come out easy but always do with this type of toy with my cats, they are cheap so buy 2 or 3 at a time your cats will go mad for them

Broke in seconds
Sadly, within seconds of playing with this several of the feathers came out. My cat wasn’t playing rough.. and isn’t a tiger or lion. Whilst this was not expensive I didn’t expect it to fall apart so quickly. Very disappointed. Contacted customer services but no response as yet

Waste of money or points
After just one play, my cat pulled off all the feathers, the stick got lost and then broke. Useless, a waste of your money or points.

Unfortunately torn apart after just 2 minutes
One of my tomcats had already ripped off these plastic rollers after just 2 minutes. It seemed too dangerous for my 19-week-old kittens, so I threw the stick away straight away.

Top Angel
I don't understand why the fishing rod is rated so poorly. In our house, fishing rods pile up in every room and in every state of use. The first rod has been in use for about 4 months and is only now ready for the bin. Our cat absolutely adores these rods :) For me, the price-performance ratio is top notch.

Attention!!!
You should definitely remove the mesh-covered springs before using, as cats tend to chew on them and might swallow bits... How did the manufacturer even come up with such an idea?
Otherwise, it's totally fine and affordable. Like all these feather wands, it just doesn't last very long—gets 'plucked' quickly—but the cats love playing with it.

DANGEROUS FOR PETS
My cat ate one of the plastic churros while playing with it and it’s taken us more than one trip to the vet. I don’t recommend it. It’s dangerous.

Plastic wires coming apart
And they get eaten, what a load of rubbish! 🤬
Such a shame, because she would have played with them...

Super
The feathers may look a bit worn after a few games, but the synthetic strings are still holding up, and we've had it for a few months now. The younger cat loves it.

A toy that grabs the cat’s attention but is very dangerous...
because when the cat manages to snatch the toy from your hands, it runs away with it and could dangerously impale itself on the stick!
Much safer are all kinds of fishing rod toys – a toy on a string attached to a stick

I got it as a gift thanks to the Zooplus points I’d collected, and my cat absolutely loves it 🫰

Cat’s favourite
This has been my cat’s absolute favourite toy! Even though it’s all scratched up and barely holding together, it still does the trick. She doesn’t really want to play with any other toys, but as soon as I pick this one up, she comes running from far away to grab it! Highly recommend!!!

Wouldn’t recommend
The first feather already fell off during delivery, and after 5 minutes of play, two more followed. A day later, the first plastic tube thing also came off. Honestly, I have no idea what kind of cats this toy is meant for—maybe especially lazy ones or something. I’ve even bought sturdier feather toys at Tedi.
