The treats don't come out. I used average sized treats.

I purchased this item but as soon as it arrived I realised my mistake. There is a removable rubber bung to fill the treats up with, that unfortunately would very easily fall out if knocked by a cat, or hooked by a claw. It's very small and make of rubber, so easily shallowed. Only the very biggest holes in the sides would also only really fit standard treats like dreamies- most of the other holes are much, much smaller than any other treat dispenser. Dangerous and useless.

We use this for our tomcat and have attached it to the side of the metal door frame using a suction cup. It holds extremely well. However, the wheel comes off if played with too vigorously, but you can easily reattach it. Treats fall out, and our cat has been playing with it for 4 months now. The side mount for the wheel has broken twice already. We were able to fix it with super glue, and it still works fine. We’re satisfied.

The product initially makes a good impression in terms of quality. However, the suction cup didn’t hold very well, though that might be due to my tiles. I’m giving it 2 stars because neither my cats nor I could figure out how it works. The packaging says that treats will fall out at the bottom when you turn it slowly – but there’s no opening at the bottom, only variously sized holes on the sides. By the time anything comes out, the cat has already given up in frustration. Such a shame.

My cat really likes the little wheel, but you do have to give it a good push for the food to actually fall out. Unfortunately, the wheel is only attached to a very thin plastic rod, which has broken on us several times. The first time we managed to glue it back together, but the second time it wasn’t possible. Apparently not suitable for adult cats.

Very suitable for parrots, a wonderful toy to keep them entertained, so I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, it’s far too small for cats, so I would only give it 1 out of 5 stars for them. Maybe for kittens, but not for fully grown ones.
