My Leni has congenital coxarthrosis and occasional back pain. She can't crouch down as usual when that happens. So, I bought this alternative to her hooded litter box. Leni immediately accepted it gratefully. It's also easy to clean. Simply remove the rim, rinse it off, and slot it back into the holders. You can even hang the scoop on the back. I don't use the plastic liner.

This is the cleanest cat litter box of all! Perfect! Nothing spills over anymore. And it's super easy to clean!

This cat litter box is a bit like an IKEA box. Design-wise, it looks much better than almost any other cat litter box. The quality is good, and I'm also happy with the inserts. Here's the only downside: you have to install the splash guard to ensure the insert fits properly. The step is also well accepted, and personally, I don't find it wobbly at all. The litter box itself is spacious, and my 6kg tomcat fits in perfectly.

I had the previous model and found the mounting for the rim to be poor. I didn’t even bother using the insert for the toilet. Now I have this successor model and I’m very satisfied. The attachable rim is slightly higher and covers 3/4 of the toilet – TOP. The fastening of the attachable rim has significantly improved.

I'm glad I bought it, because apparently the tomcat has been a high-sprayer for some time now, and with the other litter box, there's always a mess. This one reliably prevents that, as long as you assemble the attachment correctly. But that's also the problem – the attachment doesn't fit properly (the gaps between the plug-in recesses are slightly too large), so it's difficult to attach and easily comes off again if you brush against it awkwardly. The scoop is cumbersome.

We ordered this simply stunning cat litter box. Not only has the constant scattering of cat litter been reduced to a minimum, and the design is genuinely great for a change, but even opening the package is fun. This product combines practicality, design, functionality, fun, and a touch of sustainability. There's virtually no packaging waste left over (the bags can be used for the bin), and the fun lies in the surprise of how the cardboard box can be repurposed. Absolutely brilliant all around!

Actually, it could have been a great litter box if it had been properly thought through. The step is completely useless because it’s wobbly. But what annoys me the most is the plastic attachment that doesn’t fit well and constantly tilts to the side. And then, when a cat urinates standing up, the pee runs between the tray and the grey insert. That’s disgusting. I complained to Zooplus about this last year and requested 2 additional clips. I’ve been waiting for them in vain since 22/07/2020.

I bought this litter box because, unfortunately, my cats were already too big for the Modkat Hop-In litter box at just one year old. Now they have enough space, and no more half a cat sticking out of the box :D But the ABSOLUTE BEST thing isn’t the litter box itself, but the cardboard box in which the raised rim was packaged. It had loads of pre-punched holes that you could pop out. A small ball was also included, so now my kitty can push the ball through the holes in the box with her paws. Such a brilliant idea!

Was delivered super quickly, and I was able to track it live right up to the handover. The item itself was set up quickly and effortlessly. Our two cats absolutely love it, and it's perfect for my stand-up pee-ers. It's easy to clean, and the floor stays clean too. What's important to me is that I no longer have to constantly wipe up pee. Many thanks, highly recommended, and I’m happy to shop with you again.

All in all, not bad. It would be nice if you could order a separate sieve insert. If the thing ever breaks at some point, you're stuck and have to buy a new loo, which I definitely wouldn't do again.

We are overall very satisfied with the Modcat system. We have a multi-cat household, including one that sprays while standing. At this point, we have eight Modcat litter boxes, two of which are open. The Modcat tray could be a bit larger, but it’s still acceptable for our Siamese/OKH gang. It serves its purpose well, and so far, we haven’t found any real alternatives. Unfortunately, there’s currently no suitable liner available for the new model at Zooplus.

Far too small. Poorly designed and badly constructed. You have to use the plastic bag, otherwise urine leaks through the handles (it’s meant to be a toilet for standing users), so you can’t leave out the bag as the handles aren’t covered by the plastic wall. Additionally, the bag is difficult to clean, the cats scratch through it or pull it into the toilet.

Unfortunately, there’s no replacement if the suspension loops get lost, which makes the whole system unusable after a year. Otherwise, it’s actually quite good and sturdy. However, even the replacement bags are useless if the parts for hanging can’t be purchased separately.

First of all, a great and modern design. Easy to set up, except for the entry part, which required a bit more effort. I would have actually given 5 stars BUT (!) the edge that needs to be slotted in isn’t tight! It ripples and doesn’t look good. For nearly 40 euros, it should be possible to stretch it properly. The manufacturer should provide 5 clips for slotting in. So, please overhaul the design. I still think it’s good, and maybe I’ll get another one.

Unfortunately, I have a stand-up urinator and was cleaning almost daily, so I placed a bowl underneath as floor protection. That's now a thing of the past—the toilet was well accepted and has saved me a lot of work.

Yes, a bit of fiddling around to get everything in place during assembly, but it’s worth it. Visually, it’s a very well-designed spot for the cats. My older tomcat could no longer use the top-entry litter box from the same company properly, so I replaced it with this one featuring a relatively low entry and movable walls. This litter box doesn’t completely prevent sand from ending up on the floor, but it does reduce it significantly. Visually, it’s extremely well done.

Absolutely brilliant and practical toilet! With the attached frame, it's much sturdier than I expected. The insert lasts and lasts and lasts. For decades, there was hardly any choice in terms of shape and design, and for stand-up users, I always had to cobble something together myself—which ended up costing just as much. Now, there's one fantastic toilet after another. This one is top-notch. Suitable for young and old, everyone can use it comfortably. Easy to clean, and with low-dust litter, it’s unbeatable for me. This purchase was an AMAZING BUY for us :-)

I like it, and so do the cats. I don’t use the attachment. The cardboard as a toy is a nice idea. Two pieces fit perfectly in my litter chest, so everything’s great—no more mountains of litter on the sides of the chest.

The "base," meaning the plain tray with the bag for the litter, is okay. Compared to other cat litter boxes, it doesn't stand out as much and can therefore be integrated more discreetly into the living environment. However, the lid is absolutely useless. It's almost impossible to attach and simply doesn't fit properly. It looks completely botched and crooked. For just the base, it's too expensive and not functional. I wouldn't recommend buying it.

My conclusion after cleaning the litter box for the first time. I bought this litter box because one of my cats sometimes likes to pee while standing. I set up the box, including the litter bag and the rim to attach on top. My cat still managed to pee over the edge, but what really shocked me was that in another spot, the urine went through the litter bag, even though the bag doesn’t appear to have any visible holes.
