Cats won’t touch this
We usually use breeder celect litter but thought we would try something new. We have two cats and neither of them will go anywhere near the Tigerino litter. Having felt it I can understand as it is very sharp for their paws. Complete waste of money would not recommend

Very Absorbent
I have been using this for years. We have a large litter tray, use 2 bags and change it weekly or before. Could probably just use 1 bag but my cats preview it deeper in their large tray.

My Choice
My two cats have been happy to use this for years. Once a week I change the litter box contents with the full bag and never have any issues. No odours, no pooping problems.

Highly recommend
I’ve experimented going for cheaper options but always end up buying Tigerino crystal again, Very much worth the money. Great smell control and so many scents to choose from,
Unpleasant smell getting stronger due to it being scented
While the smell was not very bad when you just put in the litter. The scent becomes unpleasant as the cat litter fills up. Quite strong smell spreading in the room. Quickly becomes associated with the litter tray and cat pee. While using non scented silicate litter has had no smell at all unless your nose is basically above the litter tray scooping when it's close to being full. This stinks more and more as it fills up. Does not last long also. 3/4 of bag a week maximum with two kitties

Unhappy cats
We thought we might try the Tigerino Silicate Litter brand but unfortunately both our cats refuse to go on this. Our lady cat was tempted but she stepped in only once, and jumped out again straight away. Our tom cat gave it the same verdict. The crystals are rather big compared to other brands, too rough on their paws obviously.

Like glass
Tried this product at the other wasn’t in stock, the large pieces are like standing on glass if it hurts my hand then I feel bad for how it would feel on my cats feet’s, I wouldn’t recommend

Excellent product
Makes such a difference having scented version. Plus the other half has Asthma and usually the dust and smell causes problems but with this litter it's no problem at all. Certainly reduces the amount of litter tracked out of the box too. Have even got friends switched over to this type and they also can't believe the difference!
Great quality
This is by far my favourite type of litter. Theres no smell of urin and it lasts for a long time even 3-4 weeks (i have one cat)
Really great
Large crystals, need a scoop with bigger holes. Makes a noise but kitties are fine with it. No dust, no smells, and urine is absorbed. It discolours the crystals but no smell and you only have to remove the dried out poos. So far it has lasted over a week with two kitties and no sign of needing to change it other than the slightly yellow colour. Other Tigerino ones with finer sand lasted only three days and the smell was unpleasant when cleaning, but not terrible.

I've tried lots of different litters and I really like this one. It's true that with 4 cats, after 5-6 days it does start to smell like pee even though there are still white granules left, but overall it holds up pretty well. It doesn't create dust and all my cats use it without any issues. The smells are quite mild, it doesn't bother them.

Very disappointed, no scent and poor absorption
I only buy silica litter now because I find it absorbs much better than mineral litter and also neutralises bad odours more effectively. But when I tried this one, not only did it have no floral scent at all, even though it was supposed to. And after testing it, this litter does a very poor job of absorbing bad smells and doesn't last over time. It also claims to be clumping litter, but it doesn't clump at all.

Getting worse and worse
I've been using it for years, many years. I think it used to cost 33 cents per litre. And it worked great: it lasted the full 3 weeks as described (with just one cat) and 10/12 days with two. Then the price started to go up and, over time, its performance and effectiveness went down. Now – with three cats and two litter boxes, only one of which uses this litter – after three days they go elsewhere, and even when freshly changed, they hesitate. It's not the same anymore: the grain size has changed too and I find it everywhere.

The worst silica ever!
It doesn’t hold the smell of urine at all, it reeks of pee from the very first day of use!!! After three days you have to throw it out, you can’t even stay in the bathroom because of the smell, the whole house stinks of pee! The worst silica ever!

Eliminates odour but my kitten can't stand it
It absorbs the smell and isn’t heavily perfumed, even the Lavender series. But my 2.5-month-old kitten regularly steps on its poop, then gets stressed and shakes its paw, making a mess all over the bathroom. I guess something about the noise or the shape/smell of the crystals stresses it out and it can’t do its business calmly. Maybe it’s better suited for adult cats.

Doesn’t absorb urine

For a clean and fragrant home
I have two tomcats now, but I used to have four, all indoor cats. When I use Tigerino Crystals cat litter, there’s absolutely no smell in the flat. The litter lasts about 14 days. I put about three-quarters of the pack into one tray. After a while, the cats start to show they’d like fresh litter. I tried a clumping mix once, but they refused to use it. Tigerino Crystals is a bit more expensive, but it really suits me. None of my visitors can tell I have cats in the flat.
