Been using this for years

Fantastic! Really is low dust and only tracks a little bit. No smell. I don't have to worry about the clay litter causing breathing difficulties or liver damage. The clumps don't really break up even after a vigorous digging session so it's easy to remove the soiled pieces. A lot less heavy to carry than any other litter we tried, the bag has sturdy handles. Zooplus always have fantastic price for them too and often are on offer. I'm a very happy returning customer.

Happy Cats

This cat litter is great, I have been using it for several years now, I like that you can get 22kg sacks, this size lasts my 3 cats about a month .

My cat eats it too!

I never leave reviews but thought I’d add that my cat is also one of those that eats this litter! She’s not very food oriented so despite reading the reviews from others I didn’t think she would be one of those that finds it mysteriously irresistible. However, as soon as I put the fresh litter down she came over and started to eat it. Completely weird behaviour, it doesn’t look or smell like something she’d want to eat but it’s gone straight to the bin and we’re back to wood litter.

Not consistent

The first two bags were good. Was looking for a finer litter for my cat’s tiny paws. The next two bags I bought were harder and not so fine. Don’t know if I will buy again?

Too solid when wet

Very sticky, solidifies way too much when wet - not flushable

The best clumping litter

Tried quite a few clumping litters and this one is the best. Made of corn, clumping really well and stops odours.

Ok

Didn't think much to this litter due to the dust, I gave half the bag away, then I found my cat eating the litter, also with the dust it was everywhere and paw prints too. The clumping of it was brilliant, but I've already had a cat at vets due to the dust from other litter blocking his urethra, a painful and expensive vet trip. I didn't want this to happen again. If there was no dust and my cat didn't eat the corn, then it's a great litter with the clumping and how long it lasts also.

Best litter

This litter is easy to work with, and isn’t toxic which is really important for me as a pet mama

Best litter so far

Favourite biodegradable litter regarding lack of tracking, and keeping fresh. After removing the clumps, the litter box stays fresh (pretty much odourless) for multiple weeks with occasional top ups. Never had an issue with my two cats accepting this kind of litter, while they have rejected others (wood pellets) in the past.

Do not buy if you have kittens

My kittens eat this clearly because made of corn 😬

Flushable and little to no tracking

I prefer biodegradable litters. Most others come in hard nugget form, which I feel can't be comfortable on their paws. It's unscented, which cats greatly prefer, and doesn't track. Both cats readily use their boxes with this litter (will jump in and use them immediately they're cleaned). Only downside is my two are terrible at burying their poos and you can really smell it. I haven't docked a star because my previous brand had the same issue - I think my big lad just produces toxic waste. Yuck.

Our go to cat litter

We love this cat litter as it is free of yucky chemicals that mess with your cats skin. It does the job perfectly

Good Stuff

Really good cat litter - best I have used.

First time user of clumping litter.

As i stated above, ive nothing to compare this clumping litter to, but i will never buy it again. The core of the clump does stay together but the outside just falls apart and turns to dust. The worst problem is the odour control (or lack of) the smell of poop lingers strongly. On the plus side, it can be flushed and the packaging is recyclable. I am going to try Tipaws tofu litter next time.

Really is super but super heavy too!

My cat and I are loving this! Forms tight clumps, smells quite nice, doesn’t stick to paws and spread and then stick to mats, shower tray (my big box is in the bathroom) and carpet. I top it up after clearing clumps. The only caution is that it is very heavy, so if you buy an ‘economy size’ you need to be sure to have a very strong person handy to move it to storage.

Benek Review

Unfortunately, I'm disappointed—the litter starts to smell quickly and the pellets in the tray break down into dust, which sticks to my tomcat's paws and he spreads it all over the flat.

Really nice cat litter

Exactly the right size, super clumping and odour-absorbing, this natural corn product. It doesn't damage anything, at most it creates a bit of dust. Very satisfied!

So far, it seems good

I liked that it’s a litter with a more natural composition and it clumps well. It’s really good, there’s no bad smell in the flat like with the ones I used before.

Super Benek Corn Cat Natural cat litter

Tried and tested litter, I've been using it for years and the cats are happy with it. It absorbs smells well, clumps nicely, and you can throw it out with the organic waste. I recommend it.

"Super Benek Corn Cat Natural" in summer with high temperatures

"Super Benek Corn Cat Natural" lasts an extremely long time, doesn’t smell, and clumps perfectly. I’ve been using it for several years. This year, we had high temperatures, and I left the litter box with clean cat litter ready for our return from holiday. Luckily, someone came to check the flat and found that countless moths had appeared. Since it’s made from corn, you should know that you can’t leave the cat litter out, even if it’s clean, for a long time in summer.

I've tried different types of cat litter—well, not me, my cats have—and this one is the best.

The best cat litter

Definitely the best cat litter I've ever used. It clumps really well, neutralises odours, and for me the best part is that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter tray. It also has a very pleasant corn scent. I highly recommend it.

Happy with it

With 4 cats, this works just fine. Every day I scoop out the clumps and flush them down the toilet. There’s no smell.

The best – because it can be flushed down the toilet

The best cat litter is the kind you can safely flush down the toilet. 🙂 That way, you can clean up as you go and there’s no lingering smell. With several cats, that’s absolutely key (plus you need a big bag). Everything else is just a bonus. Don’t expect miracles. 👉 Every litter gets tracked around and creates dust, but a tall litter box (without a cover), that your cat jumps into rather than walks into, makes a big difference. My litter boxes have sides that are 33 cm high. And scented litters only irritate your cat’s nose.

Satisfaction

Both my cats and I were happy with this litter. It absorbed well, didn’t smell, and I like that you can flush small amounts down the toilet. Since then, we’ve switched to a wood-based litter that’s similar to this one, but I find it suits us even better. Still, I recommend this as a good natural alternative at a decent price.

The best plant-based litter

I've tried different types of litter for my cats and this one is still the best. Very little dust, excellent clumping power, and it controls odours better than any other product I've used.

Great

The litter clumps well, doesn’t smell, and only falls apart a little. I agree with other comments that it’s a bit dusty and there’s some light tracking, but I found this to be a much bigger issue with other litters. It took a little while for the cats to get used to it, but since then there haven’t been any problems :)

Dusty, sticks to the cat's paws

The litter is very dusty and sticks to the cat's paws. When the cats walk out of the litter, there are white footprints on the floor and on the sofa. I like the packaging and the concept, but it's a shame it requires so much cleaning, and you can also smell the dust.

Valid

Great natural alternative to regular cat litter. I bought it to try while it was on offer, and it turned out to be effective and convenient, since we can flush the waste straight down the toilet.

doesn't retain odours

Doesn't hide odours, tried it as an alternative in case I ran out of the other one. I won't buy it again.

Gets dusty

It absorbs urine well. Unfortunately, the litter basically crumbles into dust, which of course means you end up breathing it in when cleaning up after your pet. Plus, the dust sticks to their paws and gets tracked all over the flat.

Weak

I don't recommend it At first, the litter seems nice, it clumps into balls well, but it doesn't handle odours at all—it doesn't absorb them and the litter box smells of urine. After a few days, the clumps turn into dust, and when the cats leave the box, their paws are covered in it and they spread it all over the flat. I won't buy it again.

Great value for money!

The litter is low in dust, even though it’s not advertised that way. We always buy it for our two allergy-prone pets!
