We've used this for our kitten since we first got him 6 months ago and I originally loved the cat litter. Kept the smell to a minimum and clumped well. That said the last few bags of this cat litter seems different. It doesn't keep the smell away at all. I changed all the litter less than a week ago and deep cleaned the box but already the litter stinks so bad even with no wee or poo in it. Guess we'll be looking for a new brand unfortunately.

I’ve found this to be too fine. My cat leaves chalky foot prints around the utility. It also sticks to the poop scoop when removing the clumps. I thought I was ordering the Aloe Vera litter which was good.

This is very good at forming a solid clump. I have the litter about 5-7cms deep in the very large litter trays I use for our 10 month kittens. Solid firm lumps of litter that are very easy to scoop out. Minimal litter waste. Kittens like using the litter. Great price too for the quality. Win win.

I have tries lots of litters, this is the best Sanicat litter by far. Have tried others but always go back to this.

Unfortunately, the litter is no longer the same as it was before the packaging change. The litter in the plastic bags was Rose d'Orient, but I have no idea what this is supposed to be. We were so happy to have found a really great litter, and now we have to start testing all over again. It's getting tiring. And why aren't customer complaints passed on to the manufacturers so that something can be done about it?

Unfortunately, not clumping at all as described! When you try to remove the urine, it just crumbles apart. We are absolutely not satisfied with it and will never order it again.

Unfortunately, this is not the wonderful Rose d'oriente that used to be sold in plastic bags. It neither has the same almost authentic floral scent nor the same quality and clumping power. It's something completely different.

I’ve tested quite a few litters already—natural litter, bentonite litter... this one clumps perfectly, doesn’t smear, and hardly produces any dust! All the cats love it! And so does their owner—because it’s practical, affordable, and on top of that, it smells amazing! :)

I hate the times when I can't buy this litter... Finally able to buy it again. My tomcats love the litter, which is the main thing. I love it because of the scent (even when the business was a big one) 😊 🐈🐈🐈🐈‍⬛

Great cat litter, subtle rose scent, not too strong, very pleasant, clumps well, was immediately accepted.

Forms very solid clumps that don’t stick or fall apart. Still looking for the right litter box to prevent sticking. Sometimes I wish I had a jackhammer to remove clumps from the floor or corners. So far, I haven’t found an alternative and will stick with this product. PS: Maybe use slightly larger granules and less binding agent.

I have been using this litter for about 2 years now and cannot understand some of the negative comments. Some batches might be a bit dustier, but that's no different from other products. Overall, this litter is one of the best I've ever had. And I've been a cat owner for 30 years... If, as criticised here, a strong smell of urine spreads, then perhaps you should have your cat checked for kidney problems. It certainly can't be due to this litter.

I don’t understand the positive reviews... Right after the first wee, the litter tray and the entire hallway reek of urine! I’ve never had a litter that binds odours so poorly!! The clumping is okay, but the smell is unbearable.

For me, it smells good and my cats are happy to use it. With four cats, I’ve tried other litter as well and noticed that this Premiere litter has gone downhill so much and no longer forms clumps. So, Sanicat it is!! It’s dusty too, but only when pouring it in – when the cats are scratching around, I’m not there ;-) so the dust doesn’t bother me either. If you have pets, you can’t afford to be too sensitive!!

My cats really like it, but the amount in one pack is barely enough for a properly sized litter tray. Refilling it is obviously not ideal either. You can still smell the poo despite the rose scent.

Finally, after a long time, a fantastic litter. The clumping is excellent and doesn’t fall apart when cleaning. Our four little darlings are very happy with it. However, there’s a small downside (only recently, in my opinion): it’s very dusty. Both when cleaning and refilling. Still, it’s the best litter we’ve had in ages!

I use two types as litter inserts, and both types of litter are top-notch. The rose scent doesn’t fade at all!! The granules are nice and fine, making it super easy to remove the small clumps. Oh, and of course my furry friends leave behind a few grains of sand when they come back from their toilet visit, but honestly, that’s just part of having my four cats!! If that bothered me, I wouldn’t have pets. Please stay as you are – this is the only litter I’ll buy from now on!!

I have four very spoiled furry friends myself! For them, only the best is good enough. This litter is wonderful—now my little rascals enjoy going to the toilet again! I have a trick: the bottom of the toilet is lined with Tigerino Fun, and on top, a thick layer of Sanicat. This is the best quality I’ve come across in six years!! It’s incredible how much good litter contributes to a cat’s well-being!

I like the smell of this litter, and the cats liked it too. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, it forms glue like clamps which stick to the bottom of the tray and when you lift them up with the scoop they do break into smaller pieces. You have to scrape hard to get the litter glue clump off the tray and it sticks to the scoop as well. For this reason I would not buy it again.
