Spreads well, less smell
I've been satisfied with the Extreme Classic for a long time, and since I really like lavender, I decided to try this version. The litter itself is great, but in my opinion, it doesn't really smell like lavender—more like slightly sour and not very pleasant. After another failed experiment with Bio Kats Active and Fresh (or something like that), I think I'll stick to the tried-and-tested litter from Extreme Classic or Golden Grey.

All in all, good.
Let’s start with the lavender scent. When opening the package, there was a veeeery faint smell noticeable. Whether I would have recognised it as lavender scent, I highly doubt it. The smell also dissipates quite quickly, and in the litter boxes, there’s no trace of it left ;-) We’ve had the litter in the boxes for three weeks now, only remove the clumps, wash out the boxes, put the old litter back in, and occasionally top it up... there’s no odour (household with 5 cats). The clumping is better with Golden Grey Master, but it’s not bad here either. With clumps that are a bit fresher, some bits can crumble off. OK, for that we’ve got an additional finer scoop to make sure no residue is left in the litter box. In terms of clumping ability, I would have preferred to stick with Golden Grey Master. However, due to its extreme absorbency, urine initially forms a small puddle on the surface of the litter and only slowly seeps down. Completely normal... because it’s just so super absorbent. But if you have cats that squat very low in the litter while peeing, this often results in part of the not-yet-drained puddle, along with some litter, getting caught in the cat’s fur. Unfortunately, we have one such low-squatting tomcat. Since switching to Extreme Classic Lavender, we no longer have this problem, as the slightly lower absorbency allows the urine to seep down faster. Everything has its pros and cons, after all.

As a standalone litter ...
... the best we've come across so far overall. Smells nice but mild, clumps perfectly, almost dust-free. However, unfortunately, it's a bit too expensive compared to the Golden-Streus. With the current 10% zooplus birthday discount, we're giving it another try to see if the litter continues to deliver what it promised upon first delivery.

Extreme Classic
The cat litter has a pleasant scent, you can barely notice the lavender. After trying five different brands, we’re most satisfied with Extreme Classic. The only thing I’d criticise a little is the dust formation.
