White Cat Flap
Works well. Until it doesn't.
Set up for my outdoor cats- worked fine. A year or so later it became a bit temperamental but I think that's the inevitable damp seeping in. Keep the sensors clean too, is my advice.
However my younger cat who is indoor only) has worked out how to push the tab down and hook the flap inwards. She vanished one day but luckily stayed in my garden. I thought my older cat may have let her out. It happened again - I worked out how by setting up a camera. Now I have to lock the flap inwards permanently

Noisy lock action
I've tried and tried with this cat flap. My cat is linked to it, but the noisy sound of the mechanical action makes him run away from the door. I've had to revert to the much simpler version.

Disappointed
I bought the flap £89.00 to stop a stray cat entering the house. My cat had been using the widow before, and the stray cat followed suit. For some reason the microchip was not recognising the chip so i bought a tag that works well. My disappintment came when i realised the stray has worked ou how to breach my defence. The design should be review to stop smart cats hooking the flaps edge, pulling up the flap and slidding in. While it has made it and life easier, sadly it feels like £89.00 wasted

Love This!
So I used to have the older version of this, whilst it had its flaws it lasted us four years and it worked well enough apart from the daylight sensor. I tried to buy it again after it cracked and found it discontinued. After looking at the reviews I got the sureflap one. The first one I got one of my cats could not get it open, she would scrabble at it and it was hit or miss if it opens. Ordered a second one and my other cat could open it when on the locked mode, even when it was locked both way

Excellent quality and easy to fit
Excellent quality and easy to fit. Found it easy to program my six cats chips! It's reasonable draft proof around the flap. My cats didn't take too long getting used to the "click" sound of the lock. The flap is clear, which is great for cats to look out of before going out. Purchased because of a neighbour's cat coming in through the normal cat flap and eating their food! I have enough to feed already. Neighbour's cat is not impressed that he can't get in, result.

Fantastic cat flap
This is a great cat flap. One of our cats was not registering on the cat flap as their microchip had migrated from his shoulder blades. I called the customer service helpline and spoke to a lovely woman. She sent us a new cat flap with a stronger scanner that works really well (and we were allowed to keep our old one as a spare!) We also have two spare microchip pendants just in case. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

I can onyl recommend this flap!
Low price, quick delivery, easy installation, good functionality!
An excellent cat flap
Bought it for my parents to ensure only their cat can get in. They had a problem of neighbours' cats trespassing. Installation was easy and quick, and programming was easy as well. It works well.

IMPORTANT The plastic in front of the sensor becomes cloudy over time
I bought 2 cat flaps about 2 years ago.
I clearly had the same problem as some other people: recently, the cat flap started detecting my cat’s microchip randomly.
So I unscrewed a few screws and removed the plastic cover in front of the sensor, and now the cat flap works again.
Hope this helps.

Practical but manual button is fragile
I bought the previous model 4 years ago. The manual button that lets you select the passage type (locked, entry, exit, entry and exit) is fragile, and the clip that holds it in place broke after 18 months. Customer Service sent me a new one, which also lasted 18 months; it just broke again and now Customer Service tells me it's out of stock and the part is no longer being made.
Advice: switch to the current model!!!!

Unfortunately a misalignment as it was only the batteries that were in the way
Very nice product

Ineffective
Bought it new, and right from installation I couldn't get it to work. Both my cats' microchips are registered and recognised by the cat flap, but it just refuses to open. The pins that are supposed to unlock the door from the outside to the inside don't drop, so it's basically useless. The only option is to leave it completely open, which just turns it into a regular cat flap that doesn't keep any animals out—making it a very expensive way to do nothing.

Excellent
I'm really happy with it! There are lots of cats in the neighbourhood, so it's ideal that the cat flap works with the chip. That way, no strange cats can ever come into my house. I really recommend it!
My cat had to get used to it for a little while, but after that it went well. She was able to go through it on her own easily within just two days.

Bad experience
The opening time is too long, which lets other cats come inside as well. Even after six months, my cat is only detected once after programming the chip. After that, not anymore. So, poor quality.

Poor quality
The batteries run out super quickly (even branded ones) and now it doesn't work at all after just one year! And this is the second one! Avoid this model.

Already stopped working and what about the warranty????
Doesn't work anymore, only opens the door once out of 20 times. The device is still under warranty but the Zooplus website is holding things up and not honouring the warranty. I am very dissatisfied. In the middle of a heatwave, my pets are stuck outside!

Malfunction
The system works maybe one time out of twenty, so our cat can’t get out and we’re even worried that the entry system, which is working for now, might stop working too. I really don’t recommend it at all!

Medallions not compatible with cat flap!
I ordered the cat flap along with the recommended tags, supposedly often bought together. After trying to register the tags, I contacted customer service who told me the products weren’t compatible because they’re from different brands! And they don’t sell compatible tags… nor a cat flap that works with the tags…

Stopped working after 2 and a half years
The cat flap detects the microchip when my cat comes near, but it doesn’t unlock. Very disappointed with this purchase.

600kr for a hole in my door
It’s terrible. The microchip function is useless because the pins that are supposed to lock it don’t lock properly. Even when it’s fully locked, my cat can still force it open. So now I’m stuck with a regular cat flap in my door.

Poor closure
Closing takes more than 45 seconds, which gives other cats enough time to get in.
