Cat lead
Very good lead, I'm really happy with it.

Far too small
It's so small that only two fingers can fit inside. And cats need longer ropes.

For a start, it's good. But a bit short.
As a starter, it's really good. Very lightweight (even for us to hold). Does what it needs to do. But honestly, 3 metres for a cat? If you want to use a lead for whatever reason, you won't get far with this. At best, you'll stay fit yourself because you'll have to jump into every ditch after them ;-)
We now have the S lead for small dogs with 8 metres. That's more comfortable for everyone. Though we do have large cats.

Super
I ordered this along with a cat lead so that the cat has more room to move around. I got two straight away, one for each of my cats :) I can definitely recommend it.

This lead could cause injury to both you and your pet!
I have suffered nasty injuries when the lead inadvertently became wound around my thumb and fingers and when my cat ran off pulling it taut, it cut through the skin. I am concerned if it became wound round a paw or his body. The handle is too small even for my small hands. The stop button is not easy to operate if the lead is taut. I won't use it again!

Excellent!
I've been using this lead for a few days. My cat Minette now has more 'range' which is better!

Very satisfied!
I bought a Flexi mini (XS) for my 3kg dog about 5 years ago and was very happy with it. It's not broken, but it's a bit scratched now, which is why I decided to order this Flexi.
This lead runs more smoothly, and the handle on this model is more comfortable in terms of shape. (Okay, with large hands, only two fingers fit into the handle – just like with the other XS model.) So, for very small dogs and very small cats, I can highly recommend this lead.

Why a mini lead for cats???
I have Flexi retractable leads in size S for my cats. There are several reasons for this.
1. - This cat Flexi lead is only 3m long, whereas a normal dog Flexi lead is 5m. Within a 3m radius, a cat can hardly explore independently.
2. - The handle is so small that only two fingers fit inside. I don't find it comfortable to hold (I tested it). If the cat suddenly panics and bolts, I'm not sure if you can hold onto it.
3. - There's no bite guard. While this isn't absolutely necessary for cats, I still find it more reassuring to have one.
4. - The Flexi size S in the cord version doesn't have such a strong retraction force that it would hinder the cat, as it's designed for dogs up to 12kg...
...I would always prefer the dog version for small dogs for my cat.
