I have suffered nasty injuries when the lead inadvertently became wound around my thumb and fingers and when my cat ran off pulling it taut, it cut through the skin. I am concerned if it became wound round a paw or his body. The handle is too small even for my small hands. The stop button is not easy to operate if the lead is taut. I won't use it again!

Works really well, and the spring isn’t too strong like it is on a dog leash.

After I got the first one for trips out to the garden in the countryside, I ordered another one just like it for home. You can attach it to any collar. It gives the cat a sense of freedom, because she doesn’t jerk at every move like with a fixed lead, and you can relax a bit more too.
