Old complete plastic version PROS: Lasted 7/8 years / Silent / Limescale appeared 4/5 years after use / 3 pin plug. CONS: Limescale on top flat surround, unable to shift. New stainless steel version PROS: Looks smart / pump flow settings CONS: Stainless steel top flat surface surround finish coming off/fading with small white marks appearing not so smart looking now, still smooth to touch. NOT limescale / 2 Pin plug / Noisy water flow / Only 3 months old. Overall cats love it :)

Good product and does what it needs to but it comes with a European plug, not a UK one. Luckily, the wire ends in a USB head so I could just buy a UK plug head, but it was still annoying and made it cost more overall. The instructions in the box are also pretty poor so if you haven’t had this sort of product before, you’ll have to look up a lot about set up and maintenance.

Nice product but you don’t get a UK adaptor with it mine came with a Europe 2 pin plug

This is the water fountain I really wanted for my Ragdoll he loves it! It is a lot bigger than my original catit water fountain (plastic) The reason I did not give 5* review is because the fountain came with a US plug adapter- which is not helpful, also the length of the cable is not long enough for where we put the cat fountain.

We have two of these drinking fountains, and the cats have taken to them well. However, I had to replace the pumps after a year each, as both gave out one after the other. The fountain is a bit noisier due to the metal bowl. It’s easy to clean, and the filters are effective at keeping out impurities.

The Catit made of plastic needed replacing. We liked the stainless steel bowl, and it was supposed to be easier to clean than the constantly limescale-covered plastic. Unfortunately, the fountain overflows when using the filter because a vacuum forms and the water stops draining. So, no filter. Unfortunately, the stainless steel bowl keeps slipping, and unfortunately, the fountain is quite noisy. Three times unfortunate! No recommendation for this.

I am very happy with the fountain; it’s not noisy, and this time my cat can’t knock it over like the previous one. Thank you!

Salt and Léon, our two tomcats, absolutely love this fountain. It didn’t take long for them to get used to it. They both drink a lot, and I have to refill it every two days. The fountain is pretty quiet, only making more noise when it’s not completely full of water. That’s probably normal since there isn’t enough water to circulate properly. Thanks to all the drinking, my cats have developed amazing coats. Highly recommended!

I unfortunately have to revise my review: as another customer with the identical fountain featuring a plastic base already mentioned, our Coonie also manages to simply lift the metal bowl, tilt it, remove the flower, and have fun in the water... the metal bowl is unfortunately only very loosely placed. Tomorrow, we will have to drill two holes through the metal bowl and the plastic base to secure the construction with a wire.

I previously had the stainless steel predecessor model for many years. Now it was time for a new one. The craftsmanship is as solid and good as ever, it’s easy to clean, the filters are more "sophisticated" than in the previous model, and the flower actually gives off a real fountain vibe. BUT: unfortunately, this is anything but quiet, and we all still need to get used to the changed noise level ;-).

When I saw it, I was thrilled – finally, the drinking bowl at the top isn’t made of plastic. It was pretty much assembled already. And the cats are delighted; they took to it straight away and are now drinking loads :-). Above all, it’s easy to clean, and the metal bowl can be conveniently put in the dishwasher. In the evening, the fountain lights up blue so the cats can find it ;-) At least no one can knock it over. I’d buy it again and again – I’m impressed!

I chose this fountain because my Monty doesn’t drink enough, as he’s unfortunately only a dry food eater. Since it’s been here, he’s drinking more. I can recommend this fountain.

This fountain with a stainless steel top is hygienic and easy to clean—just wipe it with a sponge, and you're done. It's also very quiet. Unfortunately, my cat doesn't like the flower attachment at all 🙀. All in all, a very good purchase and highly recommended.
