thrive Complete Adult - Ocean Fish

My cat thinks it’s a treat and demands it. She gets offended when she gets served different food. Wakes me up at 6 am wanting to eat it. Yes it smells bad for humans but it’s fish so yeah, it’s meant to.

My girls sniffed it and chose hunger over trying it. Tried to give it to the greedy visitors that come daily, this is the first thing I've ever seen them refuse. One even chose the cheese and coleslaw sarnies I threw out to birds than give this a lick.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. Yes it stinks but it's supposed too. It's got mackrel and sardines so you should expect smelly lol. My cat loves all fish types besides prawn so he loves this! If your cat is more or a tuna or salmon eater then they may not like other fish but you don't know until you try.

My cat is fed Thrive wet/dry combination daily and this is one of the wet flavours she absolutely loves! Yes it's stinky, but there's a variety of good quality fish. My cats clears her plate. Maybe we are lucky but have never experienced a bad batch so will continue to buy

Yes this is a pungent cat food, but I like that you can see the various real fish pieces inside it, and that its a complete food. My two boys never leave any in their bowls so they like it. I've been ordering it for two years now.

I feel like the bad reviews don't do this justice, maybe it was indeed a bad batch? Now, this one does smell stronger than their other flavours, but as far as I know that's just how mackerel always smells! It's a pretty strong fishy smell. Our cat, however, has no problem and always gobbles it up. The vet was very happy to hear that he likes fish as it provides lots of nutrients for cats! Our cat recently got "tired" of the tuna flavour so this is a reliable alternative,

Our cat finds it a great food despite how it looks to us. Great to have such a variety of different ingredients to usual. Mackerel, whitebait and shrimp in mackerel stock so a very wet food that is a complete food and meal. Don't be put off by the look as the cat wont..

Not sure why some people think the smell is quite unpleasant, perhaps just a bad batch? My cat loves all the fish flavours of thrive and it smells nothing but fish, which is what it should smell like. I’ve bought quite a few of the 24 packs with no issues at all.

at last a complete cat food that my cats will eat that is real fish. I've bought a few times this year also the chicken one & had no issues, smells nice & fresh & ordering more today :)

It contains ocean fish and the clue is in the title, it contains oily fish plus crustaceans as I've found shrimp in it plus what looks like squid and my girl loves it. Yes it is definitely fishy smelling but not Rancid so maybe some customers have had a highly unusual bad batch but we've had this a number of times now and it is no more offensive than anything fishy. I keep trying other products but my girl turns her nose up at anything that isn't Thrive.

I normally dont write reviews but with this one I had to. Its terrible. Smells disgusting. My 2 cats just smell it and walk away not even touch it. Other tastes of this brand is lovely but this ocean one I would avoid.

I would give this minus stars if possible! Like other reviewers - I could not believe how fowl the smell was when I opened the can. Surely this has got to be a bad batch that should be returned to the manufacturer? The open tin went straight down the waste disposal with a gallon of water and disinfectant and Ive kept the others as potential return as you have to witness the stench it to believe it!! So much for trying a different flavour for our now 'highly offended' cat!!

I was hoping that recent bad reviews were just isolated incidents, but when I opened this food I knew something was off. It smells like actually rotting garbage, and my cats of course wouldn't eat it. Extremely disappointed as I feel other thrive wet food are very good and It's what I normally give my cats, so to have such a disgusting product being sold with a straight face is vile.

My cat loves this variety and the Sardine and Mackerel. This is the first cat I have been owned by who hates Tuna and Salmon in any form.

My cats love the tuna, and tuna & salmon so I thought I'd try the Ocean Fish - there was more gravy than fish to start, and neither one of them had more than one taste! Walked away a few times, compared to the other flavours which they devour! Maybe if there was actual fish flakes? It was very soupy.

My cats love the tuna, tuna/salmon so I'd thought I'd try to Ocean fish too. They did not like at all!! A sniff at best, I even tried to add real tuna to it to entice them but they were not interested. Waste of money sadly. Also, it is mostly gravy and very little fish - usually they love gravy but not this one. Very disappointed.

This smells disgusting. The awful fishy smell permeated the whole house! My cat wouldn't touch it either. The Tuna and Salmon is a lot better and my geriatric cat loves that one.

I love other Thrive products, but this looks and smells just awful, and none of my cats would even look at it let alone eat it. I ended up having to discard it. The content looks like thin fish soup with indeterminable, unsubstantial pieces of fish.

My cats had become picky and recently stopped eating Applaws and Cosma. I decided to try Thrive and I can see a difference: their bowls are left clean, spotless. Very satisfied!

Very good food, the cats love it. It's great that it's complete, unlike most Cosma products.

I've been buying this food for my two cats for a while now. They especially love the fish varieties! But this food has become really expensive at zooplus. It's almost €8 more expensive than before. Luckily, there are still some sellers who offer it at a reasonable price.

I have a very picky cat who has only ever approved one type of wet food in her life (and we've tried many). Tried this in different flavours, and now she loves it even more than the old one! She likes several of the flavours. Perfect since this is a healthy, complete food! Highly recommended 😊

My cats really like it, but unfortunately I noticed too late that the food has a very high iodine content. The information on the tins refers to 100g, while other manufacturers state it per 1kg. That’s really bad for the thyroid.
