Some people complain it's a more of a pate texture but it's wonderful for my toothless cats. There are chunks here and there, I'd say it's about 50% pate. Cats love the flavour.

Finally, some food the cats actually eat :-)

My two tomcats do like the food, but I've never had the problem before where they're almost always hungry, even though they ate two hours ago. Apparently, the food doesn't keep them full? Maybe it's something to do with the pâté-like texture of the food? They don't get it daily anymore, just occasionally because of this.

Since using Smilla, my cats no longer throw up.

As another reviewer mentioned this is pate and not meaty like the others. Not really suitable for adult cats that need meat to chew on. Probably would be good for an older cat. All other smilla adult wet food is very good though and my cats love it.

All three of our cats turn away in disgust, unfortunately, even the neighbour's cats. Not even with yoghurt or Parmesan can we make it work. Ordered 24 400g tins because beef is usually well received and Smilla has never caused any issues before. 2 stars because the food looks good and smells nice (to humans).

I add some dry food for a bit of texture. However this does go down well and a really good price to boot.

I have one pate loving old cat and she is very fussy. She loves this smilla food, turkey one being her favourite. It doesn't go to waste as other cats like it too.

Our cats love the Smilla Beef Pot and tolerate it really well. I like that it’s grain-free, and you can switch between the different varieties from time to time. A great food at a really fair price.

I’ve been feeding my four cats Smilla for quite a while now, and they absolutely love all the varieties of the Beef Pot. By now, they’re completely obsessed with it. ;) They tolerate it really well too, which isn’t always a given for two of them. I’m so glad I found this food!
