I have a very difficult oriental male who has just recovered from a Clostridium infection. This left him with bad diarrhoea. I have wasted a fortune on food that he will not eat, until, out of desperation, I tried Scrumbles. He loves it, and thank goodness his stools have returned to normal. I am pleased because the meat or fish content is far higher than that of many other foods. Although the price is higher than that of some foods, it is money well spent as he actually eats it.

Omission marketing: Scrumbles promotes “70% meat”, but they don’t highlight the much lower calorie content compared to Natures Menu. For my 5kg cat, their calculator recommended 5 cans a day vs 2.75 cans of Natures Menu, so the real daily cost is the same or higher. I only realised this after comparing feeding guides. When I contacted Scrumbles, the replies were clearly AI‑generated and didn’t address the issue, which could lead owners to underfeed if they don’t check calories.
