Whenever my cats have upset stomachs I give it to them and they are much better. I always use it in this situation.

Hmmm
I have a poorly maine Coon almost 2 years old cat and putting him on a GI diet is close to being the last chance for him.
He has been eating this product pretty well until the last order. Just opening the sachet it felt different. I had to use a fork to get it out of the sachet and my cat is barely eating 1/4 of it whereas the pack before, he was eating 4 sachets a day.

Cats eating now .
My cat has urinary problems and has to have a special vets urinary food .....
Recently he has totally gone off every different type of urinary food I could find for him .....The vet suggested this food ...As it is on the so index as well which they checked with the manufacturer ...He still takes his vetpro in the morning .
He loves this food and wolfs it down .I add a little water to it ...All good at the moment ..I obviously keep an eye on his wee ....

It depends….
Both my cats were sick recently and the vet suggested feeding this to help in addition to some probiotics. It worked a treat with my older cat and he loved it…and the diarrhoea stopped, things started firming up. However it made my younger cat’s diarrhoea worse! So I returned him to his normal RC Maine Coon slices in gravy whilst giving him the probiotics and luckily things improved. Even now when he tries to steal his older brother’s food, he will start to get soft poop again….so it depends….

Easily Digestible
My Bengal liked this wet food almost immediately. She had been sick regularly after eating other wet food but this one agreed with her. A very happy cat & owner!

Better recipe (according to my cat, at least)
My kitty used to eat this 5 or 6 years ago when she was first diagnosed with IBD, but went off it. We tried it on a whim after finding out the recipe changed, and she loves it again. They really can be funny creatures, my heart goes out to those who's cats have gone off it, but it's not a straight up 'bad' reformulation. I can pretty much just get mine to eat this and the sensitivity control during a flair so it's a lifesaver.

Didn’t work
I had a teacup Persian cat - 13 years of age and bought this to try and stabilise her diahorrea. It made it worse, it was like a fountain coming out of the rear end. So I had to go to the vet and use digestive paste to try and replenish what she lost.

Changed Recipe to Jelly = ruined
This food used to be great but since the recipe change to jelly from gravy, my cat no longer likes. It was a great move to remove the sugar, but changing to jelly was a very poor decision when the price has stayed at a high premium.

Clearly Unpalatable For My Fussy Cat
Got this on my vets advice to sort out my cats tummy problems. The pouches state they are in gravy and the first few pouches seemed to be, but my cat just licked all the gravy off and left the meat. Then after a few days the consistency of the pouches changed to a drier jelly-like substance instead of the gravy & he refused to touch it at all. A very expensive mistake (although his greedy siblings ate it mainly because it wasn't theirs!).

New recipe?
This used to be great when my cat was recovering from a dodgy tummy or vet procedures, but it seems the recipe has changed? Doesn't look or smell the same as before and cat doesn't like it as much

used to be fantastic food til they changed recipe in Dec 23/Jan 24
my cat has been on this on & off since easter 2015, she loved it, great food but unfortunately its recently had sugar removed, looks different & cat wont touch it now, trying to find an alternative asap. emailed RC who said "Certain sugars have been removed from the formulation of Gastrointestinal cat pouches. Whilst this change may impact the appearance of the product, it does not impact the quality, functionality and safety of it. The change in formulation should also not impact palatability"

Changed
My Sphynx Dudley has Pancreatitis and loved this food. But Formula changed in jelly rather than gravy. He eats it but not so much. Why fix something that is not broken!

My elderly girl loved this when it was gravy, now they have changed it to jelly she will not eat it due to vomiting

New formula unacceptable to my cats
My two elderly cats with chronic digestive issues were on this for three meals a day. Since the formula change, one went on hunger strike completely and the other is picking at it. Phoned Royal Canin and the customer service was excellent but unfortunately that won't get my cats to eat the new version.

Changed formula
Sadly my cat will no longer eat this new formula in jelly and pale in colour, such a shame , so disappointed as despite it being expensive it worked wonders for my cats health. Now I will need to try and find an alternative .

Changed formula
The changed formula discourages my sick cat from eating. I tested other companies and none of them helped him. He previously loved this food, returned to a healthy weight and got rid of chronic diarrhea. Now his diarrhea is back. I don't know what to do or how to help him :((

Recipe change
This was my cats favourite wet prescription food for IBD. The box I ordered in December had changed, the gravy is now jelly and it doesn’t look as appealing. My cat agrees as he will no longer eat this food. It’s a shame to lose a favourite. Was no info on the box that the ingredients and vitamins had been altered. He does fine on Royal Canin Sensitivity Control, no upset tummy, so will be substituting the Gastrointestinal for this as it’s a similar consistency with gravy.

Change of Recipe
Having had serious issues with my cat losing weight this was the only gastrointestinal food that my cat can tolerate. Imagine my dismay after reordering 48 pouches I opened the first one to see the grey jelly sludge that is in other brands, needless to say my very fussy cat took one sniff and has gone on hunger strike. I am now going to have to start the painful process of finding another food that doesn't react with her tummy
