animonda Carny Adult Saver Pack 12 x 200g

Large tins, full to the brim, nice looking jelly, cats try to snatch it whilst I’m opening the tin, they seem to really enjoy all the flavours, we buy the without beef.

Food looks absolutely awful, my lad instantly turnes his nose up at it and I couldnt say I blamed him for doing so, wish Id read recent reviews as wouldnt have bought it, good reviews are from 10+ years ago

We just switched from the kitten food to adult cat food, was eating kitten food from same brand. It was okay. But these adult ones are very oily. I usually put some water in the wet food to boost its water intake. But the condensed oil become even more disgusting after I blend it with warm water. Even cats need fat but it doesn’t seem good fat to me. And the colour of the meat is dull.

Theres definitely a lot of fat and grisle in these especially towards the bottom but overall good value

This is the first food that my unfussy boy Loki isn't interested in. He will eat it eventually when he realises he's not getting a different option, but he doesn't munch it down like he does for Bozita or Untamed foods. I think the texture is the issue - each flavour has a dense corned-beef texture, not distinct pieces. It's a shame because on paper the ingredients and price-point are what I was looking for. I will not be repurchasing.

My two sphynx cats love it - fills them right up and it’s got more meat then any of the cheaper brands like Wiskas and felix , will definitely buy again as soon as they’ve gone through the whole pack , delivery was very quick took just 2 days - as you know with sphynx cats their poos are horrible but the smell has completely chanced to a more pleasant smell and it’s made it more solid which I prefer

My two indoor cats love this food,but since they have been in this food my goodness they have the smelliest poops I have ever smelt! They are very normal poops so it's not causing any digestive issues apart from the smell They have always been on a grain free diet and I have never had this problem before. I wonder if this for is too rich for them. It's a shame as the cats always finish the food and if it wasn't for the stink it would be a 5 star review! I guess its back to the old food which wasn't so appetising for the cats.

My cat is quite fussy. I tried this "straight" from the tin and she ate it a little. However when I tried again later in the day, I took the tin out of the fridge and served up some more..she flatly refused it. Assuming it was because it was cold, I pinged it for 20 secs in the microwave ( I use ceramic cat bowls ) and she wolfed it down! Eveytime I feed this food I zap it first and she gobbles it up. Just a tip f you have a cat that does not seem that interested in it. Nearly the whole mixed pack is gone and I will order more. Her coat is so shiny and glossy. One happy owner :)

I have three cats and they are all on different foods which is a real pain,my diabetic cat is on a high meat content food , my 16yr old cat is on Sheba cause she's fussy and that's all she likes from the super market, my other cat is happy with most stuff, I tried bozita but it seams to upset there stomachs and as its expensive I'm reluctant to try different flavours. This animonda seems to suit all of them and the price is really good, I'm ordering more!

I really like the idea of Animonda Carny as I am firmly in the "cats are obligate carnivores and should therefore eat high meat content food" team. I had seen many recommendations for Animonda Carny from like-minded people and so ordered a mixed trial pack. My kitten wolfed it down the first time, so it must have smelt delicious, so it gets a thumbs up as with many others' cats in these reviews. I later fed some raw minced chicken & beef as a snack and he had vomiting and runny tummy incidents on two separate occasions, so I have isolated that down to when I started feeding beef. So sadly I will have to cut out Animonda Carny altogether as, despite the names of the flavours listed, the bulk of the meat used seems to be beef. In fact there are no flavours that does not use beef! This is my only complaint to be honest, and think it is still a very good option if your cat is not allergic to beef. It's a shame really as I have only fed one tin before finding this out, so still have 11 tins leftover! Guess they will be going to a rescue.

We have a hyperthyroid cat who I feed a diet of Bozita, fresh chicken/sardine & tuna- to keep her weight up and reduce tablet indicate to once per week. But she's been a little tired of the Bozita of late- Tried this brand as the meat content looked nice and high - well I have to say what a transformation! - she has put on weight and her fur is beautiful- even my other fussy cats lap this food up - will be buying more!

Although the ingredients are all written in German, it does translate to a pretty good list of natural ingredients. However my cat will not touch it. I have even gone to the lengths of warming it, and adding grated cheese, but to no avail. My cat is by no means a spoilt kitty, and has always been fed high quality food, so I can only draw the conclusion he just does Not like this, any of the flavours! Maybe because it is more of a pate than chunks of meat.

My Bengal girl has been picking her fluff out due to rolling back caused by a grain sensitivity. She only really eats shredded chicken like Applaws, or Sheba or Gourmet mini fillets but I've never really been that happy with the meat content of the foods and of course Applaws is complementary and she refuses to eat dried food. Initially she turned up her nose at the first can of this and Catz finefood, but after persevering, she now loves the Animonda Carny and howls if I put down her previous favourites. She even turns her nose up at shredded chicken! She also picks at her fur far less and is brighter and more lively.

my kitten was on dry food when i got her decided to wean her off dry and offered felix....she hated the stuff...then ordered this mixed pack and she loves it which I am so pleased about. great price and good quality food with a brilliant service.

Second to applaws for my two siamese but much cheaper. Thumbs up.

I bought these smaller tins (x4 varieties with beef- which includes beef and lamb, pure beef, beef and heart and beef and chicken) as my cat Missy didn't like a large tin variety (chicken and duck). I wanted to her to road test the smaller ones just in case and I'm glad to say she eats all these with no problem and leaves her bowl clean. Very high meat content too. I'll now buy the 400g tins of the same varieties as they are even better value. Great cat food!

My two Russians love this food - I bought both taster packs, and not one variety has been rejected - surely a record! Taster packs are a great idea, and I've now gone on to order the larger tins, confident they wont be wasted. The meat comes as a solid loaf-type coarse pate, so needs a good chew - but they can't lick the gravy or jelly off and leave the bits! Delighted all round.

The ingredients are fine. But my two cats don’t like it and won’t eat it, not even when mixed with other food, and they’re used to different proteins.

It used to be a good product, I gave it to my two cats for at least a couple of years, but since they changed the packaging and probably the formula, the texture has changed—it's harder and has more fatty bits—and they won't eat it anymore. Now I have a huge stock and I don't know what to do with it.

We chose this product because of its low carbohydrate content, since Momo is a diabetic cat. He eats it happily and, based on our measurements, his meals don't affect his blood sugar levels.

My Maine Coon ate quite a bit of this one time, but barely touched it the next, so I ended up throwing it away. If a can wasn’t finished in one go, I kept it in the fridge. Because the fat solidified, I could clearly see how much was left. The whole bottom was covered. At first I was enthusiastic, but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be buying this again.

BEAVER is quite satisfied, the bowl gets thoroughly licked clean, and I get a look full of respect! "Finally, that's it, that's what I'm talking about!" It seems the fur has improved, and those yellow-green eyes have come to life with a new sparkle! Every day, one can gets emptied over three meals...

None of my cats will eat it, and I have five. :( The meat is pretty dry, there’s no gravy in it at all.

Switched to this food two weeks ago. I'm still not completely convinced, and apparently my cats aren't either—they walk around it to get to their kibble. It doesn't look very appetising either, with all those white bits (fat?)

They’re happiest when I give them this canned food, they absolutely love it. I’ve tried almost all the varieties and every time I get the same result.

I don't like all the flavours, but it looks good otherwise.

I usually always order this food for my cat. Now, in every can I open, there are white bits of fatty tissue. I always mix the food with water, and when my cat has finished, you can actually see the fat sticking to the edges of the bowl. It even smells like frying oil, almost as if it's really made from waste meat? Something has changed and that's really a shame!!

My 5-year-old cat hasn't been interested in this product at all.

It's decent cat food, she ate it just fine but it really smells incredibly strong. Because of that, her trips to the litter box also started to smell a lot. I've since switched to another brand that smells less.

It's not a favourite for my pets, but they do eat it. Sometimes, though, one of them refuses to eat and will only finish it if there's some left over from the other.

Watch out if your cat has a chicken allergy. The description doesn't mention chicken as an ingredient. I have the food at home, and it says it contains 26% chicken...

They offer very good value for money. My cats are interested in these tins. They smell nice and have well-defined pieces.
