My cat has minor changes to kidneys so I'm only putting a small amount with his usual food. He doesn't always eat it and is good at leaving it but eating his usual food. There's plenty of gravy and the cubes of meat are nice and small.

My cat like many others just licked the gravy off the pieces (of what I do not know, if it is just 'with chicken'. However, eventually I thought how to combine the whole food pouch and have been liquidizing this since he was diagnosed with kidney disease and as long as I don't add too much water to swill out the pouch, he loves it as a soup! Hope this helps the other reviewers.

Our 18 year old British Short haired old lady has early kidney disease. This was the cheap food we found on the net. Our budget for cat food has gone up X4 a month as the special food is so expensive. The same biscuits are cheaper at Pets at Home btw. This order is easy to do and comes in about 3 or 4 days

This particular food was the success to getting my cat started on renal. Once they started to except this food you can start to add in more advanced foods if your cat is say stage 3/4. Going straight in on advanced foods is near impossible…. This food works great and now both my cats use it and have really healthy coats and decent blood results.

I've tried a few renal function cat food brands but my cat would always get tired of it after a month. With this brand, 6 months later, he still loves it! Really happy with this product.

My 15-year-old Maine Coon was diagnosed with renal disease, and after six months on Purina ProPlan® Renal Function food, Kattovit Special Cream Low Protein, and Integra Protect Yummy Bits, her blood results are back to normal. I also give her filtered water from a fountain inside and bottled water outside, as cats with renal disease shouldn’t drink tap water. She’s more energetic, eating well, climbing again, and even her coat looks healthier.

My cat needed to transfer to an early care renal wet food so decided to try this one. transitioned over a week with some of her regular wet food. No problem at she loves it! She also loves the early care biscuits too.

I was relieved that my 18 year old girl took to this renal food very quickly. I mixed it gradually with her usual meal though. It’s also easy for an older cat, now missing three molars to eat as the pieces are not chewy or rubbery but softer. It could do with having a meatier smell to help with appetite but at least it’s not unpleasant.

My vet has advised a renal diet for my cat with early stage CKD. Have been trying out foods, mixed with old food first. This one he absolutely will not touch. Will not buy again.

After trying Royal Canin and Hills early renal without much success i wasn’t optimistic about this brand. I may be talking too soon but my cat ate a full pouch in one go. Fingers crossed she will carry on eating it.

Been working my way through the brands. So far this is the only one my cat will immediately eat. Wish was more flavours on the site n

Unfortunately my cat will only lick off the liquid and leave the rest. Tried for period of transitioning across from one food to another but she just won't eat it. Trial and error so on to the next brand to see if she likes that one!

My cat has early renal disease so on the advice of our vet I looked for an appropriate food for him. Zoo plus prices are very reasonable in comparison to other suppliers and my cat really likes it. In fact he always eats it and finishes it. I would thoroughly recommend Proplan Renal and Zooplus

This is the only early renal my cat will eat. It is such a relief that she is eating. I have to give her ordinary renal with all the additives other days.

My female cat with early stage CKD eats and enjoys this product most of the time inbetween eating another brand dry early stage renal

Cat generally enjoys it but sometimes only trys a couple of bites and then decides she wants to have some different brand dry food

Had to try due to vet's advice for kidney care. My cat never ate pouches, same with this. She just licks the liquid so the rest was wasted. Pity you don't do a trial / taster selection for pets who have to change diet. A waste of pensioners' money

My 16 year old cat has been on this diet for 6 years at stage 1 kidney disease. My vet has said that there is now almost no trace of KD and the bonus is that my cat loves this food and also the biscuits from the same range.

My cat has early kidney desease and i wasted a lot of money on special Renal food it wouldnt eat but it is quite happy with this brand and flavour.
