Why is it so difficult to get a reliable supply of any brand of hypoallergenic cat food in the UK? Having waited for stock to come in, as I always have to do, I find it's gone up in price again, by £1.30 per pack since last month. July: £12.69 August: £13.99 I've given 3 stars because my cat isn't sick with this food like she is with almost everything else, but it's become so frustrating running out all the time, and this leap in price is painful.

I bought these cans back in January as I normally buy the pouch version but it became out of stock then and has been when I've looked since (also price has increased) I bought quite a few packs of these cans because I know how precious it is to my cat having trialled many many diets. My cat won't touch this stuff and when he did initially try it a few times it made him throw up I don't know what could be different from the pouches as they are practically the same packaging. Very disappointed

I have tried so many foods for my cat who has allergic asthma. This hypoallergenic turkey one is the only one that doesn't exacerbate his breathing problems, eye twitching and head shaking. It is a god send. He's also just had perfect blood results and his kidneys look great for his age. Please don't ever stop making it or shipping to UK!!! Thank you

I thought this would be the same as the smaller tins available on zooplus but it is totally different texture. This is very much like Feringa canned or MAC’s. Very meaty grainy texture. Seems really dry to me and for urinary diet needs to have more moisture as my cat doesn’t drink

Have a cat who is pushing 20 years old and who has suffered from keep food down and passing it through other end for quite a while. The switch to these specialist foods have had an amazing impact on his health and his bowel movements. The change was immediate too.

my little Tigah suffers terrible with skin problems and as a result over grooms and makes it worse. She is often on steroids which I really dont like and cant be doing her much good,she has a heart defect so I am double worried about the effect on her.I am sure it's a food allergy of some kind and have tried numerous foods to no avail.She is also extremely picky! Bought Kattovit - she devoured it, licking her bowl totally clean! This is unheard of so fingers crossed we have found the 'cure'

My cat would not eat this for toffee, that is probably not the food as she will not eat any of the renal support brands I've tried, it was doing my head in and worrying me as I do not want to worsen her condition with consistent conventional food but I found a way to get her to eat it. A tiny sliver, of Feline Fayre tuna pate mixed with 95% Kattovit, the whole thing stinks of Tuna even though there is very little, and she eats the lot. :) Hope someone finds that useful.

I have two kittens with EGC caused by food intolerance. This is the BEST single source product I have ever found Both kittens love it even though its a pate their bowls are empty. It smells delicious!!! About time we had single source products

My Burmese cat Jake has Ibd and his stomach is easily upset. He is also a picky eater but loves this and there is no waste as he eats it all and really enjoys it . Highly recommended

My Isis is 14 years old, and super demanding about her food. She was diagnosed with IRC and we had to change food, but we expected her to refuse the new wet food. Luckily it was not so! She immediately accepted this Kattovit food, a great relief for all of us! Thank you to Kattovit and zooplus for helping us to cure my Isis!

After so many renal foods, this is one of the few my cat actually likes :)

We have a large cat family (8 of us!). One of the cats is suffering from a terrible food intolerance (watery diarrhoea all over the place). So our vet asked us to put them all on a special diet to make sure it didn't spread to the other cats. The one we got from the vet was quite pricey and the cats weren't very excited to eat it. When we went back to normal food though we had the same problems with watery diarrhoea all over the house! So we finished our bag of vet food. Then I tried Kattovit and it works great! All my animals love it and tolerate it well. They can't wait for feeding time! The best thing is the cost though, Kattovit Sensitive is more than 50% cheaper than the other diet we used and brings us the same success. Thank you Kattovit and zooplus!

My two older cats have enjoyed this! I hope it is not only the novelty factor because the price is great compared to other brands of kidney diets.

Very well tolerated by my cat who has chronic vomiting. It smells great too!

My 3 year old cat has had an upset stomache for ages and been to the vets several times . He loves this food and at last no more runny tummy

My cat gets this special food for his allergies. After a short time his skin went back to normal and his fur grew back where it had come off. Highly recommended!

My 14 year old cat bobby was diagnosed with slight Renal failure about 10 months ago and has really been having the Royal cainne brand and was eating well on both the wet and dry food. Recently she was being abit picky with it so i bought 48 of these tins and she absolutely loves it! so i think she just felt like a change. I have been quite lucky with all the renal food brands as she will eat most of them but has really taken to this brand : ) thankyou zooplus your excellent website.

My Siamese is intolerant of regular cat food whichs makes him vomit etc. I have tried other hypoallergenic foods but many of these contain potato which still makes him sick. Kattovitt gastro however contains rice and he is great with this! Please never stop selling this zooplus because it has been a lifesaver for my cat and I.

My 13 yr old cat has just been diagnosed with early kidney failure (his sister had it and we recently lost her, to other things as well as the kidneys). I tried ther royal canin dry and various wet flavours and he wasn't impressed. We bought the lamb Kattovit based on reviews. After virtually going off wet (<1/4 pouch other wet foods) he scoffed 1/2 can last night and again this morning. I have been able to sprinkle his synoquin for arthritis on it too - fab-u-lous!

my siamese cat seems to like this and he has not been sick or had a runny rear for a week.i hope he can carry on being this well.i would recommend you try this if your cat has the same problems.i think mine was allergic to other cat foods

Our cat loves this food. We've tried quite a few things already, but this is just perfect for our cat. Would definitely recommend it any time.

Lately, the last 3 batches have been very 'grainy', so it's been challenging to cut it into consumable pieces for my cat that has missing teeth and sensitive digestion. A lot ends up not being eaten and goes to waste. A more homogeneous 'pâté' consistency would be preferred. We've switched to MjamMjam turkey and Animonda for the time being.

My 6 cats approved it—2 of them have allergies, and it was also approved by the 2 stray cats I feed.

After negative stool tests for all parasites and giardia, and after trying various well-known and expensive gastrointestinal and hypoallergenic brands (both wet and dry), I decided to try Kattovit together with another brand of hypoallergenic insect-based kibble. Finally, my 5-month-old kitten has stopped having diarrhoea.

My cat has been eating this for years and he absolutely loves it. I tried switching to Kattovit chicken once, but that didn’t go down well. He really wants turkey.

Very good food for cats with sensitive digestion

Tastes good for all cats, even though it was meant only for those with sensitive stomachs. The only complaint is about the delivery of products packed in Zooplus’s metal cans. Almost always, a large part of the cans are dented and therefore unusable. The cans are packed loose in the delivery package. I’ve complained about this several times, but nothing helps. Luckily, you can get this elsewhere too.

I am very satisfied with the Kattovit special food and the price is unbeatable compared to other specialist food brands. The cat with allergies loves the food so much that she recognises it just from the tin and runs ahead of me to the feeding spot—she just can’t wait to get it. We’ve got her allergy under control now, thanks in part to this food. My other cat, who has CKD, gets the renal food and enjoys eating it too. Absolutely satisfied!
