Recipe changed?

My senior cat used to love this food but recently it's been full of gristle, some skin, and even a few tiny chunks of bone. Very disappointed in the most recent batches as I spend ages mashing with a fork to remove the big lumps and the little hard pieces. If I don't my cat won't have more than a mouthful or two, but even then he never finishes his bowl and I've thrown a lot out. This used to be my cat's favourite food so I'm disappointed.

Great for cats with allergies

My cat had been very sick so I searched for a food that was gentle on her tummy. Through trial and error I have discovered she reacts badly to chicken in food- so she has the turkey option and this keeps her symptoms at bay. Its very difficult to find food without chicken - she doesnt seem to like rabbit or other novel proteins. This food is good value.

Why has this got so expensive

We regularly buy this for our cat who has a number of sensitivities and it suits him. It's always been around £5-6 a box...now gone up to £7.09 - like me, I can imagine this will be very offputting for other customers, so will now look to shop elsewhere. Disappointing.

Great for food intolerance

My cat has food intolerance to chicken and beef and won’t eat just dry food, after 2 days there was a massive improvement in her, just a shame it’s often out of stock

Fantastic!

Great food, I have 2 elderly cats - one with allergies and one with a sensitive stomach, they both love this food and it's eased their symptoms. Less itching for one cat and less spewing for the other.

Unpopular

I can see that there may be a cat that eats this, but unfortunately neither of the two cats that I have ate any of it. The texture is like that of a pate and is OK.

Very good for sensitive skin & tums...

My cat has very sensitive skin & digestion issues. She loves this, the Chicken version, the best of all her sensitive wet foods and eats every bit of it resulting in a lovely coat and normal poos!

Good food, just doesn't work for my cat

Cat likes this pate type food well enough, but she still throws up immediately.... I guess this is her own specific intolerance so not the fault of the food. I've scanned all the ingredients and there's nothing 'hidden' which so many other brands have (e.g. multiple types of meat) so recommend if you know your cat is OK with that type of protein.

Fab product

My cat loves this food, in the Turkey and lamb flavours, plus it doesn't upset his sensitive tummy or make his allergies flare up. Please don't discontinue in UK after Brexit!!

Tasty

I bought Integra as an alternative for other sensitive diet foods that my vet mentioned. And this is the only one that my cats actually like.

Not for my IBD cat

I gave this to my Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) cat. Sadly, though she seemed to enjoy it, she threw it up straight afterwards. I wondered if perhaps the serving had been too large, however, a second try, with less food had the same response.

Success at last

My cat has had vomiting problems for 12 months, numerous tests at the vet did not find anything wrong. I got this food and the vomiting has stopped. My cat does occasionally vomit but it’s usually a hair ball she brings up. I will be keeping her in this food

Wow

My friend recommended this to me as my maine coon keeps getting a runny tummy, wow, it's worked almost over night, this morning we have solid poo. The great thing was how much she loved it, she even went in the bin over night and got the empty tray out to lick it dry ha ha. I got the dry food too which again she loves. Can't thank this product enough. Ordering more later today.

Excellent food for sensitive tums

Having tried every sensitive food on the market, this is by far the best. My cat licks her bowl clean and she maintains a healthy weight. Great value on zooplus also.

Great!

Have been using the lamb and rice variety for a few months now. As others have pointed out, it is a very thick pate that will need mashing with a fork. However, it is exactly what it says on the tin: lamb and rice only. I am unsure what exactly my cats' sensitivity is, she gets soft stool periodically that ends up needing probiotics to firm back up, but since I have switched to this sensitive food there has been no further outbreak for months now. I also feed her RC sensitive and JWB turkey as a rotation but I consider this integra food the healthiest of the sensitive bunch.

Quite good

I bough the 'sensitive lamb and rice' variety and only one of my two cats likes it. The consistency of this is very solid, it needs to be mashed down really well with a fork. The ingredients are good, it is so hard to find a type of wet cat food that doesn't contain chicken, which my cat is allergic to.

Helped a very poorly cat

My 12 year old Tiffanie had been very ill with sickness and diarrhea and despite lots of tests the vet could find nothing wrong so I decided to radically change her diet to try and save her. This was one of many products from Zooplus I tried as the selection for cats with dietary problems is very good. This is one of the successful ones for her along with Kattovit. As we all know with cats one of the problems is getting them to eat the food which is good for them but she does like this and the turkey and rice one sometimes. I am going to try the turkey and potato. My poorly girl is now looking a lot better.

Only thing my cat would eat

My cat had been poorly and then went off her food for over a week with me having to syringe feed her (under the supervision of a vet). They sourced appetite stimulant medication for her and I tried her with a variety of top brand foods. This was the only one she would eat and couldn't get enough of it. I've had to order more before it runs out!

Perfect for my cat

My cat has food sensitivities, and the Integra food has worked perfectly for him. Not only does he like it, He hasn't had any problems since starting on the turkey and rice 3 years ago, his coat is shiny, and he's a very healthy cat.

Cat eats it, but doesn't love it

As the title said, my cat eats it, but doesn't love it.

Lamb and rice

Something has changed in the food, the colour is strange, the smell is awful, the cats don't even want to come near it.

Lamb with rice is a blast!

Our allergic kitty is on an elimination diet: dry Royal Canin Feline Hypoallergenic + Animonda Protect with lamb, and it’s working well. The food is a bit thick, but we mash it up with a little water and it turns into a soup that our cat eats with pleasure. We give her half a tray every other day and also add a pinch of powdered psyllium husk. Now it’s time to try turkey next 😁

Lamm & Reis

Too much rice

I had the lamb + rice variety. Supposedly, it contains 1% rice. So with 1% rice in 100g, shouldn’t that mean there’s 1g of rice in it, or am I getting that wrong? Okay, maybe they use 1g of dry rice, and when it’s cooked, it increases in volume, fair enough. But when I pick the rice out, I end up with at least 30g. Visually, it looks almost like a 50/50 mix. Plus, the rice is firm and not properly cooked. Cats can’t digest that well at all. Same goes for the rapeseed oil...

Best taste!

My cat has allergies, but she's also extremely picky and has a sensitive stomach. She devours this food, and she often refuses to eat if she doesn't like the taste, so it can be tricky to find something she both enjoys and can tolerate. Her favourite is the one with lamb! Highly recommended.
