Cosma Original in Jelly Saver Pack 24 x 170g

I expected my cat to love this food because the pack contains all of her favourites, however, it's minced to tiny particles packed in a most peculiar solid gel. She hates it and was sick twice after attempting to eat it.

My cat is very picky and does not like to eat the same wet food for long. I always used to end up with lots of leftover food that she would no longer eat. This one is different, she has been having it for 2 months now, ha sno complaints and is always very excited to be fed. Thank you Cosma!

Cat loves this food, however they’ve changed the tuna so it is no longer a complete food. Very disappointing, will not buy again.

My shelter cat isn't fussy and has tried half the food options on Zooplus and eats everything (except Lily's kitchen pouffly pie) but just she loves ❤️ Cosma the most and her pleasure is so obvious it is really enjoyable to watch. She particularly likes seafood in any flavour. Wish Cosma was a complete food (happy that the Tuna is) as it ticks all other boxes on quality, variety, texture and price. Of all the brands, it looks and smells the most like quality human food.

Tried a trial pack of the 85g tins to see if cat would like it. She absolutely loves it . 'She' being a new, very nervous rescue cat, who actually follows me into the kitchen for Cosma, shows me how good they must be. Have since ordered 170g jelly saver pack which works out a little cheaper overall... Brilliant for grain intolerant cats too.

We recently started looking into better food for our cats after looking at the composition of the big name brands we were feeding them (it doesn't make for good reading!) cats needing plenty of protein in their diets and most having as little as 9% we did a little research and Bozita came pretty well recommended, after a short weening period they seemed to take to it and the package claims 80% meat in the chunks so everyone seemed happy, that is until I delved deeper and looking at the ingredients, I'm not sure where this claim comes from. Back to the drawing board I eventually stumbled across cosma. Firstly, cosma claims around 75% of meat/protein in the product and just looking at it you can believe it. It comes out of the tin looking like little strips of chicken (in the chicken variety tins obviously!) the smell is as pleasant as you would expect from tinned chicken, unlike the Bozita brand which quite frankly was enough to put me off food. But the proof of the pudding is in the eating, of which every one of our 3 cats completely clean their bowls then patiently sit by the others in hope they will leave some of theirs. Cosma make great cat food as part of a balanced diet for your feline friends, I would suggest bulking it up a little with some dry food or cranberries as It's not classed as a complete cat food so may be lacking in certain nutrients and cranberries help with digestion. As a product I give it 5 stars even though the price is a little expensive but then it's good for your cats whereas the cheaper options rarely are so really it's what you're willing to pay. We all want what's best for our cats and cosma it seems to me is a great start.

I've only just tried this food for my cat but she adores it and leaves nothing. It makes getting her to come in for the night a whole lot easier as I tap the tin with the fork and she leaps the fence and comes running ! So good to have found a good quality food that she loves.

You can tell this is high quality cat food as soon as you open the tin. Both my cats tried the mackerel and sardine and decided they didn't like it - I think maybe they are too oily. However, the tuna, salmon and chicken ones are great and went down a treat so I will definitely be buying those again rather than the variety pack. Would highly recommend these!

Plume doesn't like the sardine at all.... Tried everyday for 3 days she won't come close to it! Although to me it smells natural and appetising! Cat are fussy sometimes.

One of my new rescue cats was getting a dodgy tummy and was filling the air with very unpleasant smells with the wet food the centre had him on. I tried a variety of the more premium wet foods and the cosmo original is the favourite of all 3 of my cats, they love all the flavours, and do not leavve their bowls until they are licked absolutely clean and best of all, no smelly cat any more!

Cosma original is good and my cat loves the chicken, Tuna and Salmon he wont touch the mackerel or sardine i think its too fishy for him. Though fish loving cats may like it as ut has huge pieces of fish in it.

Our kitty loved Sea Bream (complete food). It has got strong fishy smell, but I definitely will order this cat food again.

The Cosma original salmon variety that I gave the cats today, looked so good that my dad, not realising that it was cat food, asked if I would do him a sandwich with some on!!!! As for the Mese clan, they wolfed it down.

The food does have a lot of chicken meat, but the jelly is like concrete. When I add water, the taste changes and my cat doesn’t want to eat it :(

I chose this brand on the recommendation of the shelter where I got my cat, and it was spot on. My cat absolutely loves these tins.

I rate this very positively; our two picky tomcats really like it. The ingredients are great and the contents look and smell very good. The 170g tin is just the right size for one meal for two medium-sized cats.

My cat likes the whole Cosma range that we order, but especially the tuna. We split this tin into 3 portions, and he eats the first one with no problem. But when I take out the second or third portion from the fridge, he might just sniff it and walk away. We realised that he’s not a fan of cold food, so now we add a bit of hot water and then he eats it with pleasure :)

My cats really enjoy this wet food in all its varieties.

This is the second time I've had the 170g tins of salmon not being appreciated. Also, unlike all the others with different flavours, these have a smell of spoiled fish. Basically, I'm a fan of Cosma and I only buy their products, but I really can't recommend the 170g salmon ones. My pets won't eat them and they stink.

My 5 house cats and the 5 from the colony love it.

They love and eat the tuna. They won’t touch the chicken at all. Nothing helps, not even mixing it with something else.

My cats like the food from this range. In the mornings, they share a 170g can between the two of them, they're 8 years old. The food has a nice smell, texture, and appearance. They've been happily eating it for several years now. They don't want any other food.

My cat loves it 💚💚💚 Great quality, the shredded meat looks nice and smells really good. We're coming back for more, it's now a regular item in our menu.

They really don't like these, and I have to say they smell pretty bad too.

Spayed cat, almost 2 years old at the time of writing this review. She eats all the versions without any problem. The jelly isn’t "runny", which is a plus for me, and the ingredients are good. Very little fat, I give it as a supplement but not every day.
