My cat eats wild freedom, has a few favourite tests. Strangely, it does like opposite testes of catz finefood. So now we have a wider choice.

Potential issue with some of the cans?
We got the 6 variety pack for our cats to trial it, and two of the cans gave them stomach trouble. One cat is more sensitive and prone to stress, so when she got diarrhea and wouldn't eat the wet food we thought it was that. But the next day, the other cat had explosive diarrhea as well and vomited all day. Maybe we got unlucky with some batch/flavor being less shelf stable or something, but we won't be buying this brand again.

Excellent quality
This is a great pack for trying to figure out the cats favourite, really chunky, great quality & our boy liked all of them.

Yuck! Say Pixie & Daisy
Neither of my cats would touch this food -- I tried 4 different tins & finally gave the last 2 to the foxes! The texture & colour of all the "meat" was the same chunky reddish stuff. Would NEVER buy again.

NOT ONE BITE!
Neither of my cats will TOUCH this food! I have tried them on 4 different cans so far. I ended up leaving it outside for the foxes. Pixie & Daisy said, "No!"

The quality has changed
My cat loved this food. For 4 years he ate it with appetite. For some time the food has lost its quality, there is a lot of fat and he doesn't like it anymore, he just throws it out of the bowl.

Great food
Overall I think this is excellent quality food.
Knocked off one star for one of the flavours - herring and crab. OH MY LORD the smell of that it’s just awful, I’m usually really good with bad smells but this was something else , I was literally gagging and couldn’t get rid of this smell from the kitchen. It’s not. to the usual fishy smell as you would expect, it was just rank....
I will say that Cat enjoyed it so I guess that’s the main bit... other tins are amazing and smell really good.

Species appropriate, tasty diet
Cats are obligatory carnivores and should never ever be fed dry food. This wet food is top notch quality at a reasonable price. It contains meat and animal by-products in very clearly stated amounts. It is supplemented with 1500mg taurine, which is on the higher end of the desirable content. It does have additives like cranberries or potatoes depending on the flavour - those are generally not needed in a cat diet, but they are here at low enough, acceptable concentration - My cat loves it too!

Another excellent, and good value, catz finefood product.
Excellent ingredients that sound and look good, with elements that are good for cats like lean meat, heart, stomach, liver, ect.. Mixed trial Pack 1 was all eat, except the salmon variety but that's the same with all wet foods for our cat. Very good value at one can a day for medium sized cat. Another excellent, 5 stars catz finefood product.

its a yes from me
i have 3 cats out of 5 that will eat this, and thats a good result to me..it smells really nice, and i believe a cat decides what it likes by the way it smells rather than taste..its a little more expensive than others. u wont really notice that if u are just buying for one cat, but with 5 u really do. i will be buying this again, .. i like to give a mixture of food so they dont get bored.. i say give this one a go

Better than expected for fussy cats
2 out of 3 fussy cats love this food in our household. I am so pleased! I like the 70% meatiness to the cat food, Smells & looks like Corned beef. It's a good quality meat with very little jelly and fat in.

3 cats wouldnt eat any of these
it looks and smells great but i bought 12 cans of this stuff and none of my cats would take more than a small bite. i even tried mixing it with biscuits which they love & it got ignored. was pointless wasting it so gave 3 cans to neighbour for her moggie which eats anything ( one of mine is like a dustbin and eats anything and everything) - the other cat turned its nose up at all the flavours and refused to eat. maybe too many veg? dunno but waste of money & only food ever refused by my bsh cats

Bubbles loves it
Seems to be a bit like cat's Marmite: they either love it or hate it. My 13 year-old lady cat loves it, doesn't take her long to lick the bowl clean. She's never been a fan of 'chunks in gravy'-style food. She also likes the Animonda Carny range and Applaws Senior. If your cat likes those I'd say there's a good chance they'll like this stuff, too.

Not great
Looks like it may have potential when you open the can but ultimately disappointing. My Bengal boy much prefers his Cosma cans, so those he shall continue to have. Gave the rest away to the owner of a less fussy moggy with 3 legs.

Not eaten
I bought a couple of trial packs earlier in the year after my cat had dental surgery and was only allowed wet food for 2 weeks. I found the packaging confusing and never sure what flavour I was giving them as only german labels. The texture was not as I had imagined, much more like a thick mousse, and neither of my cats liked it, and would often leave it. Now I have a load of expensive cans I will have to donate to a rescue. I wouldn't call this 'wet food' in the conventional sense.

All wasted
My cat wouldn't touch any of this: a mouthful at most and then moping sadly to the door in disappointment. Some of it never got eaten even when I left it out on the drive for neighbourhood cats to sample. I thought my cat would perhaps like the rabbit one, since he usually prefers rabbit varieties, but even that was spurned. I should never have bought multiple cans.

Kittens are happy!
My kittens adore this food and clear their bowls every time I feed it. It's good quality food, looks and smells like meat and is free of any nasties. Very affordable too, a winner all round!

Worth every penny best cat food ever!
Our very ill rescue cat of 10ys has completely been restored by this easily digested wonderful top quality food. She was very emaciated and weak, often sick on all other food, disinterested in eating, but now back to normal weight, shiny healthy coat, clear eyes, good stools where as before she was often struggling, and very happy. The food smells so good, she can't wait to eat. Worth every penny!

Too solid for Caesar
Cats Finefood is one of six wet foods purchased from Zooplus for Caesar the fussy 12-year-old rescue Birman to try. It comes in 200g tins, so half has to wait in the fridge for the next meal. The food is very solid - too much so for Caesar, who likes a bit of gravy. We tried two meals of it, but the residue hardened in the bowl on both occasions. Overall not a success - another batch for the Cats' Protection League donation bin.
