Kangaroo - a really fine food
Fabulous pâté with jelly stock from muscle and offal meat, slightly higher protein and less fat and a firm favourite with our cat. A credit to the Purrr range and Catz Finefood pouches all of which I've found to be very good quality and very reasonable value given a 5 kg cat only needs 2 or 3 pouches a day, It has become my first choice in wet food for my cat's health and wellbeing.

Kangaroo - lovely meat and jelly
Really good food, a good mix of meats with offal in pâté style with jelly like broth. Better value than it at first seems as you don't need to feed as many 85g pouches as other makes. A firm favourite with our cat. Highly recommended.

The quality has deteriorated massively.
The kangaroo used to be the favourite food. But ever since the colour changed from dark brown to light brown (I suspect something in the recipe was altered), the food is no longer touched. This now also applies to other varieties like venison or lamb. Such a shame, but I guess I'll have to start looking for something new again.

Quality has deteriorated
For years, I fed my allergic tomcat catz finefood Purrrr Lamb and Kangaroo, but for about a year now, the lamb has contained too much fat and the kangaroo has had bone splinters. As a result, the last deliveries have all ended up in the bin.

My "fussy eaters" are thrilled
Both our cats eat very little. Here, as well as with the Cats Finefood BIO range, every meal is devoured with pleasure. Top! Thank you very much.

Catz finefood purrrr Kangaroo
I've been ordering this food for two years now, and my tomcat has always loved it.
However, I have to say that somehow the composition seems to have changed. I've already thrown three entire orders in the bin because he won't touch it anymore.
A few months ago, the product was a rich dark brown with quite a firm consistency.
Now: it's more light brown and almost has a slightly mushy consistency.
Such a shame, as it was always very well tolerated before.

Superfood
I got my two tomcats through animal rescue from China, where they only knew dry food. Switching them to wet food worked straight away, but only the pouches with sauce. Now I’ve tried Purrr Kangaroo – the first time they weren’t impressed, but since the second pouch, they’ve been going absolutely crazy.
They tear everything apart with their paws, eat it immediately, and then lick the bowls clean. According to them, it doesn’t get any tastier than this!!!!

Finally, a wet food that tastes good! :)
My British Shorthair lady turned her nose up at every type of wet food I offered her—everything was refused!
Kangaroo? She LOVES it! Absolutely adores it! :)
The bowl is empty, and her human is happy! She even leaves her previously beloved dry food (she never liked any wet food before) for this. :D If that doesn’t say something, I don’t know what does!
Now I just need to convince my other British Shorthair lady that wet food isn’t so bad after all. ;)

Top quality
My two tigers only eat the salmon variety, but I find the quality and digestibility absolutely top-notch.

SUPER Purr Kangaroo
A Burmese cat with kidney disease, only one functioning kidney, absolutely loves this variety and it suits him very well. Since every kidney dry food contains wheat, there’s no other option. Additionally, he gets a tiny amount of Hills dry food – unfortunately, there’s no other way. With supplementary treatment using SUC (homeopathic), hopefully, he’ll be able to live for a while longer.

Purrrr Chicken
I really like my Burmese girl, but I have doubts about whether this is good for her in the long run. It contains macadamia nut oil (no idea what the manufacturer was thinking!!!), and that's toxic.
Also, unfortunately, too much iodine. At the moment, I don't have anything else, but it's definitely not good long-term. It always sounds good, but this oil has no place in cat food!!! Really a shame, and the manufacturer is being stubborn, claiming it's only small amounts.

Unfortunately, it is not accepted.
My personal impression of the food is generally good—it doesn’t smell unpleasant and looks high-quality—but even after almost three weeks, none of my three cats will eat any of the varieties, despite usually having different preferences.
Even with all three together, three-quarters of a packet remains uneaten, which I then had to throw away, and despite having a full bowl, they keep asking for food the whole time.
I’ve never experienced all three cats rejecting a food so completely, not even with other brands for allergy-prone cats.
For that reason, I unfortunately cannot give this food a good rating.

Great food
After a few minor issues with switching food, the new food has been very well received. Since one of my cats unfortunately suffers from kidney insufficiency, I switched to high-quality grain- and sugar-free food, and lo and behold, the kidney values are back in the normal range. Highly recommended, even for older and sick cats.

Update on my review on 20/06/17
I have been feeding my cat on this food now for over five weeks. Can't believe how much her health has improved. Even after one week I could see an improvement. No more blood after passing her pooh. She now goes every day instead of every three to four days and normal size. Not the massive poohs she used to pass which I am convinced was causing the bleeding. I strongly recommend this food for any cat with digestive and skin problems. I just hope that we will always be able to get supplies of zoo

Excellent quality cat food
My cat has passed blood after her Faeces. She has had this problem since I adopted her last October. The vet advised a change in diet as he suspected that the cheap food she had been given by her previous owner was causing the problem. A difficult task for a cat who was addicted to this food and was very fussy. My cat loves the Kangaroo which I give her I will introduce the rest when her digestion calms down. No more blood so far since feeding this food for one week. I am delighted. Thanks

Very good food
My 14-year-old cat Luli has had a food allergy for about a year now, and so far, all attempts with special food (including the one from Hills, which he refused to eat) have been unsuccessful.
The food smells good, is easy to take out of the pouches, and I got the impression that Luli isn’t scratching himself as much and is leaving his ears alone, as he often gets infections from all the scratching. Luli liked it. You’d just need to give it to him over the long term.

Kangaroo <3
Our British Shorthair cat "Mimi" unfortunately has a food allergy. After half a year of testing different foods, the only one left is the Catz Finefood Purrrr Pouch in the kangaroo flavour. She strictly refuses every other food, even from all other brands. :-/ Well, then she’ll just be eating Skippy :-D Hopefully, we can get her skin problem under control this way.
