Not high enough in protein for an active kitty
I’m using this wet food in conjunction with another wet food. It’s not nutritional enough to keep my cat on it (she’s a very active kitty) and the company uses rice as a filler which they’re not meant to have however I can’t knock them for meat, moisture and crude ash content. Overall much better choice of wet food than your standard “supermarket brand”

Not for my cat
I’m afraid she wouldn’t even try it! I must be more careful about what I order, she gets easily bored by the food I give her, and I was hoping the different varieties would give her the diversity, but not a chance!

Perfect pet food
I wanted to put my cat on a predominantly wet food diet following a diagnosis of Feline tooth resorption. We haven’t looked back since starting Applaws wet food pouches. Missy absolutely loves them! You can tell the quality of the food is excellent by how it looks and smells. I recommend this cat food.

Excellent value
Much cheaper than my local pet food supplier. Delivered ultra fast with very long shelf life. Can't fault the product or Zooplus's first class service. Thank you!

Tasty and delicious
Both cats enjoy the chunks of tuna and all occasions the bowl is licked clean. Highly recommended.

Great Quality
Very high meat content, food smells and looks good and overall good food but the cats prefer wet food with gravy instead of broth so had to switch from this unfortunately.

Gives smelly diarrhoea to my cats
Unfortunately dont know if the formula changed and my cats love the taste but it gives them a terrible smelly diarrhoea instead. It is impossible to live under the same roof unless with all the windows open. I was seriously worried at the beginning and was even thinking contacting the vet, until I diversified their food and learned it was these pouches only that gave them such smelly runny poo.

Quality a disgrace now
I used to buy the Tuna and Anchovy a lot for my three cats but the quality went downhill badly, the pouches were just liquified, greeny-grey mush. My cats wouldn't touch it and I was very disappointed by the quality control department saying there wasn't a problem. I won't buy Applaws again, should be a zero rating for the cost and amount I have to throw away.

Great quality wet food at a great price
We've never had a problem with any of our cats refusing this food, they always lick their bowls clean.
It's high meat content means it's great for their health. Bright eyes and shiny coats all round.

kitties love it
My cats love the Tuna and prawns mixture - cannot get enough - the pouches are more economical and you get more for your money - only wish they were a complete food bc I'd feed my cat that soley if it were the case!

Chicken & Wild Rice is my cat's absolute favourite
We adopted our cat from the RSPCA, which rescued her from horrible conditions. So she wasn't in great condition when we brought her home. She wasn't accustomed to wet food (or perhaps had traumatic memories of it) and rejected most of it, especially if it was covered in gravy or jelly, so we struggled to find something to give her in addition to healthy dry food. We have tried every wet cat food on the market and this is her absolute favourite because it's in broth (which she adores) and is only shredded chicken & rice (Applaws Chicken & Aspragus is her second favourite). She has been with us 6 months and her fur is now glossy & healthy, and she is happy & energetic, so we'll keep feeding her this. She's quite small & can't eat a whole tin of food (& won't eat leftover tinned food), so the pouch size is just right & economical.

like your other reviewers once my cat had tasted Applaws nothing else is quite good enough although she still eats her biscuits

Beware
A warning to all cat lovers, once your dear little bundles of loveliness have tried this food DO NOT RUN OUT! I did and I got the look - the one that says - I can't possibly eat this - where is my Applaws. Then they just walk away leaving you feeling guilty that you didn't get your order in in time!

Claudes favourite
We have been using Applaws now for a little while and whilst my cat Claude usually licks the gravy or jelly off other foods, he just tucks into this until he is full. He is 18, blind in one eye through being kicked as a kitten, the usual story of a rescue cat, he is the boss of the house and we love him. That is why only the best is good enough for him as he is the best and so is Applaws.

Special Treats
I recently tried my little angels with Applaws Chicken with Pumpkin and Chicken with Asparagus to give a bit of variety to their usual favorite food. They were both big hits with them! And they seem to help my boy who suffers from constipation alot with his toilet! The food consists of yummy shredded chicken slivers with bits of pumpkin or asparagus in a jelly. They are now added to my cats' menu as special treat meals.
