Applaws Cat Pouches in Broth Mixed Pack 70g

My cat absolutely craves this food! His main food is Marro fresh food but I mix a bit of this with it to make it more appetising for him. You can see real chicken pieces in this; not like the awful slop you buy in supermarkets!

My cats love Applaws wet food and I pick it because it’s not jammed full of fillers - it contains what it says on the label!

Not ordering again.

I'd tried feeding my cat various other cheaper pouches and more expensive tinned foods, but this is the brand that suits him best. I alternate between feeding him the fish variety and the chicken variety pouches and he loves them all. I also feed him the Applaws duck and salmon dry food, which he devours. His fur is gorgeous and healthy, and best of all is that his toilet trips are much less smelly since switching to these pouches.

My all 4 cats love applaws food- except that one with wild rice🤣-my oldest 14 years old soits all rice around bowl - meat has been eaten- he loves pumpkin and asparagus but rice oh no - other cats eating all type without fuss

Some bags will be full of food, others will be more liquid and much less food. I doubt any of the bags add up to the advertised weight, very small amount in each bag.

I have 3 cats and all of them love Applaws in broth pouches. My domestic shorthair Juju is a big fish fan. His favourite is the tuna with anchovy (which stinks but you do see the generous proportion of whole anchovies). He only has half a pouch at a time and is happy with that (& fills up on dried food). I wish the pouches had the mackerel & sardine but they only come in tins. Pretty expensive but very clearly quality food and never wasted.

Seems like quality pieces of meat in broth. One cat really likes this, and my other cat won't touch it (so i buy it regularly for one of them). Sometimes the meat chunks are a little big, and need mashing down.

My cat absolutely loves these packs, he wolfs them down instantly (the fish selection especially). I, unfortunately, do not. Most of the pouch is broth, which makes me question its value for money. I am a big fan of Applaws food, but I will not be purchasing these again.

My picky cat loves the chicken packs

We've been buying the Applaws pouches for a long time, the cats love the chicken varieties. However it appears that the recipe has changed, the last two boxes have contained noticeably less chicken. The pouches have become very watery, I assume to make up the weight from the reduction in meat content. We opened a chicken and pumpkin pouch last night, it was broth, pumpkin and harding any chicken! Unsurprisingly the cats have hardly touched it!

Good for variety saving on the product when these multi flavours satisfy several picky cats. I suggest from zooplus an ideal silver metal spoon/fork buying llent quality ideal for extraction from pouches lasts ages strong doesn't tarnish good price

My cats have a grain free diet of dry cat food so this is a little treat once a week (a pouch shared between two or three if the stray is around and they love it. It seems to agree with their tums but they are VERY discreet about their bathroom habits so not totally sure! But, it is gone in a flash!

After feeding my bengal a supermarket brand cat food since he was a kitten I realised the meat content wasn't very high in that particular kind. I changed one of his 3 pouches a day to applaws and he suddenly seemed happier, he loves having his Applaws every day! The best thing about this food is you can actually tell what it's supposed to be, it does smell a little but it looks like proper chicken or fish. Also my little kitty doesn't smell so bad litter tray-wise, happy kitty, happy parent :) My only problem is it's a bit pricey otherwise I would feed him these pouches for every meal.

I used to buy applaws in cans and noticed that after a while the quality changed. There was more and more liquid and less and less fish - particularly in the tuna and prawn so I stopped buying it. I then saw the pouches so started to purchase them. I noticed on my last order they again started to look much less full than previously so I have started to weight the actual contents and there have been packs with as low as 57g in. Surely that can't be right?? They're very expensive and if they aren't full packs that makes them extremely poor value. Beware!

My cats like this mixed fish pack, but they eat one of the varieties a bit more reluctantly. It's the one with the white and turquoise packaging.

Our tomcats eat it with enthusiasm.

My cat loves it. It also helps her stay hydrated since she doesn't drink much.

My cat absolutely loves it, but be very careful because this is not a complete food and doesn't provide the necessary nutrition for a cat. Besides that, the chicken and pumpkin variety causes vomiting almost immediately, and I've heard of other cats having the same reaction.

A product I wholeheartedly recommend!

My three cats really enjoy any variety of these pouches with fish.

I've ordered this many times before... and my cat usually really likes it, but this time everything just smelled like plastic bags... she won't touch it... so, straight in the bin -.- Only tins from now on.

One of the cats wouldn’t even try it, and the other only ate a little bit every now and then. I’m still giving 3 stars, because our cats hardly like any fish food anyway.

These chicken pouches are a hit in our house! I ordered several more boxes :) The only downside is that sometimes a lot of food gets stuck to the sides of the pouch, but that's why I also ordered the same flavour in metal tins!

I’ve been buying this brand for over a year and they always loved it, but for the past few months they haven’t been eating it with the same enthusiasm and most days they end up leaving a lot behind. The same thing happens with the chicken variety—I really wish they’d go back to the old recipe.

I’ve been buying Applaws for 2 years (due to an allergy in one cat) and the quality seems to be continuously decreasing. In particular, the prawn variety (which both cats used to love) smells disgusting this time and both cats are turning it down. The tuna alone doesn’t seem as appealing as it was. The sea bream mix is still acceptable. Even more disappointing is that the can quality has definitely decreased so I bought the packets to avoid that – it has not been avoided. Will be changing brand.
