We've been feeding our retrievers this food for 4 weeks now and are more than positively surprised. Both dogs' coats shine like velvet and silk, their bowel movements are 1-2 times a day, and their overall condition is excellent. And that's despite both of them being a bit sensitive when it comes to their diet. What we like best is that they're finally full. They could still eat until they burst, but they no longer seem to have the typical "constant hunger" that retrievers often have. So hats off, Eukanuba! Highly recommended!!!

My little Goldie urgently needed to lose weight. At first, we only managed it with 200g per day. He was really hungry during the first 3-4 weeks. Now he’s maintaining his weight well with the food (still 200g) and even leaves some behind occasionally. Unfortunately, it contains sodium chloride and potassium chloride (= table salt), which I don’t think is great for dog food. The price adds up over time too. But on the plus side, a bag lasts 1.5 to 2 months for a 25kg little one with joint problems.

My incredibly greedy Labrador bitch didn’t eat it, she even spat it out when I tried to give it to her as a treat. No, once was enough... we won’t be buying it again.

I took part in the test campaign and tried Eukanuba for Golden Retrievers as well as for Boxers. I have a Labrador female and a Spanish Shepherd mix. Both love eating it, and I’m thrilled. Their shiny coats gleam even more (unbelievable!!!!) and are silky soft. Both tolerate it very well. Unfortunately, in the long run, it will be too expensive for me, as €54 per bag is a lot of money. Such a shame!!!! But otherwise, I can only say: Fantastic food!

During a trial promotion on zooplus.de for this food, my 3.5-year-old Labrador-Staff mix Angel and I decided to give it a try. Angel has quite a sensitive stomach, and so far, Eukanuba products have delivered the best "results." That was already a motivating factor in our decision. Furthermore, Angel is a Labrador mix. A Labrador is basically a Golden Retriever with short hair *g*. So, we decided to go for this food. Ordered on Friday, delivered on Saturday. (At this point, a big shout-out to zooplus.de for their super-fast delivery times!). Angel has tolerated this food from the very beginning. The transition went smoothly. We've been feeding her this food for about six weeks now and can only report positive results. Her digestion is excellent (very good stool, both in colour and form). Her coat shines like polished leather. We also have the impression that Angel has become more alert and active since starting the new food. In the past, I had to take it easy on Angel when jogging; now, I have to make sure I can keep up with her ;-) I can wholeheartedly recommend this food, even for dogs that aren't Golden Retrievers. With such great results, I'm happy to overlook the rather steep price. I hope this feedback will be helpful to some fellow dog mums and dads! Best regards, Olli

I bought this food for my 3-year-old, normally active Labrador male during the trial promotion at 50% off the price. After 2 weeks of feeding, he has become extremely thin, even though I’m giving him much more than the recommended amount. He does like the taste, but the piles of faeces are much larger and more frequent compared to his previous food. Additionally, his breath has started to smell unpleasant since switching to Eukanuba Breed. I’ll be switching back immediately. Such a shame – at this price and with the brand name, I had expected more.

My 3-year-old Goldie loves eating this food, and it seems to suit her quite well overall. Unfortunately, she's becoming very thin, even though she's getting significantly more food than the recommended amount for her weight. I'll therefore switch back to Eukanuba Adult for large breeds. She does better with that.

Our 1-year-old Labrador has been eating this food for months now, and we’re very satisfied. We used to feed her Nutro Lamb + Rice and always had issues with diarrhoea. She’s spayed and gets about 20g less per meal, plus bones, treats, and occasionally dried fish. Her coat is super shiny. We’re sticking with it!

I have a 2-year-old Golden Retriever and have been feeding him Eukanuba Lamb and Rice until now. I tried the new one and have to say, he ate it straight away, tolerates it well, and his stool is great. Highly recommended!
