Customers are thrilled with the lead's durability, comfort, and quality. It's praised for handling strong dogs and wet conditions well, though some find the clips too large for smaller dogs. The lead's leather softens beautifully with use, and the adjustable length is a bonus. However, concerns include rivet issues and excessive width for smaller dogs. Overall, the lead is considered a great value, with many willing to repurchase despite minor drawbacks.

Great for smaller dogs.
We now have the second Heim lead for our Labrador (40 kg), but unfortunately, the rivets have just given out. Our impression is that the rivets are simply too small and can't withstand much force.

Actually good, but!!!
Not really suitable for pulling dogs as the leads give way. Furthermore, they unfortunately rub off quite a bit on clothing if you wear them over your shoulder. But otherwise, they're fine.

Highly recommended
A fantastic lead at a great price! It's nice and grippy, feels good in the hand, and can easily handle a GSD without any issues.

Very nice lead!
Super lead at a great price! And it's great that you can swap out the carabiner – I've had several leads where the carabiner broke after just a short time!

Favourite lead
I bought the lead for my male Groenendael (24kg) and have been using it daily for almost half a year now. It feels good in the hand and holds up well even when my dog pulls occasionally. The lead is not only very affordable but also looks really nice.

I'm totally thrilled, highly recommend it.
We've been using the lead for a week now and are completely satisfied.
It feels good in the hand, and even when the dog pulls, it's much easier to handle than my old synthetic lead. I also think the length of 2.40m is great, especially since the lead is still lightweight.

I'm thrilled!
I ordered a lead for each of our two Hovawarts, and I’m absolutely thrilled with it: it feels great in the hand, has a bit of give, and is also perfect for walking both dogs at the same time.
I’m planning to gift my daughter the same lead for her Labrador this Easter :-))

Very good quality!
Our dog doesn’t pull as much with this lead. It’s heavier than nylon leads and gives both the owner and the dog a good "feel" during walks. For this price, the product is an absolute BARGAIN and highly recommended.

Super lead!
I've had the lead for a few months now and I'm very satisfied. At first, I was sceptical because of the low price, but I can confidently say that it's even better than some expensive leads. Why 4 out of 5 stars? - Unfortunately, the rings used to adjust the length rust quite quickly. However, I should also mention that they're often exposed to wet, rainy weather and frequently drag on the ground since my dog (30 kg) doesn't pull at all. I'd happily pay a few euros more if the rings were rustproof as well...

TOP!!!
I am very satisfied. The lead has been in daily use several times a day for weeks with a 30kg dog. The lead is both sturdy and stylish. On top of that, the price is unbeatable! I can recommend it with the utmost confidence!

Good quality for this price
This lead has really good quality and can withstand our Irish Wolfhound. However, I should mention that he often runs off-lead. When that's not possible, the lead comes into play.
A great feature is the interchangeable carabiner hook. We haven't had to replace it yet, and we've been using the lead for a good 4 months.
The only downside: It stretches quite a bit when our 70 kg dog pulls (if he smells something special or suddenly gets scared, as he's a bit of a scaredy-cat), so you have to be careful not to get knocked over. That's why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars. However, this can be avoided if you adjust the lead to be shorter. Plus, it's leather—leather naturally stretches, especially if it's single-layered.

Better than some expensive models
The lead is absolutely brilliant!
I had a very expensive lead from a very well-known brand and was extremely disappointed. Then I bought this model. The lead is constantly in use with us, and my dog weighs 40 kg. He does like to pull sometimes. I can only say, this lead withstands everything. I can only recommend it. The price is unbeatable anyway!!!
Besides, who among us has a utility item for a lifetime!

Lovely length (2.40m) and rich chocolate colour!
To be honest, I only bought this 2.40-metre lead because of the length, the leather colour, and the price as a temporary solution until I could get a more expensive model (which costs €75). We got it here at a reduced price and an additional 20% off, so we only paid around €14. But the lead is really great—the colour is a lovely rich nougat brown (identical to the colour of the expensive lead), the leather is beautifully soft, and overall it looks quite classy and sturdy. Of course, this isn’t a lead that will last a dog’s entire lifetime (which the more expensive ones can), but even our heavy dog feels very comfortable with it, and you can lead him securely. Our dog doesn’t pull at all, though; otherwise, I might have some concerns about the craftsmanship for a very heavy dog, wondering if the fittings might break under strain. But for the price, it’s an excellent value for money! And the colour is just fantastic—not always the usual black or light brown...

Absolute satisfaction
I've had the lead for a few weeks now and I'm absolutely thrilled. The lead has a good material thickness and is nicely wide. The leather feels very soft and supple. Like with the collar, it gives a little, but I already knew that from the reviews beforehand and don't find it a problem at all. In return, the lead is incredibly long and can be adjusted to three different lengths beautifully. All in all, a lead of this quality at such an amazing price is truly highly recommended.

Very good first impression
I ordered this lead for each of my two dogs (50kg and 30kg). It makes a very good impression in terms of workmanship, functionality, and material.
The leather is very soft, and the adjustment options are excellent. Since the main carabiner is easily replaceable, I don’t see any issue even if it were to fail.
Truly excellent value for money.

Holds wonderfully, especially at this price!!!
I bought this lead about a year ago, and it still meets all my expectations for a good lead. I have a large Kangal mix that can pull quite hard at times. Even the carabiners hold up. No issues even when the lead gets wet. Would happily buy again!!!

Absolutely top-notch value for money!!
I've been using this lead for about 3 months now for our 48 kg male dog. Despite the heavy use and strong "pulling on the lead," it holds up amazingly well!! I only replaced the carabiner with a stronger one right after receiving the lead, as I don't trust such "small" carabiners. With proper care and regular greasing, the lead will surely last a long time, if not an entire dog's lifetime. Even in the snow, I've had no issues with the leather lead. It absolutely competes with expensive products, and: why pay more when you can get affordable quality!?
