The feather wand toy is a hit for many cats due to its engaging feathers and rustling sounds, sparking excitement and fun playtime. However, some found the feather tuft too large or intimidating, and the wand's durability varied, with some breaking early. Overall, the craftsmanship is appreciated, and many cats enjoy the toy, making it a recommended purchase for feline entertainment, despite some minor drawbacks in size and color.

Not accepted
Shame, my two girl cats (2.5 years old) don't play with it. The idea and craftsmanship are good. Unfortunately, the feather and paper end is too big. It's not perceived as prey; more like a threat.

Doesn't hold
I’ve always had the Feather Dancer, and my cats, whether big or small, absolutely love it. At first, they were startled by the size of this wand, and not all of them play with it. The first one broke after just one play session – the cat gave it a quick tug and ended up with the movable piece and feathers in its mouth, while I was left holding the stick, unfortunately separated from the rest. The craftsmanship/gluing doesn’t seem to be particularly good, which I’m not used to with the Feather Dancer and certainly didn’t expect for the price.

Fun to play vs durability
It was great fun for my two one-and-a-half-year-old Burmese cats to catch the waving bundle of feathers and crinkling foil strips. Unfortunately, the fun didn’t last long. After a few minutes, the feathers started coming loose, and after three days, the flexible front rod detached from its connection.
The image and the price led me to believe it was a higher-quality product. I wouldn’t recommend the Crinkle Dancer – at least not for lively cats.

Well...
I was recommended the cat wand. Unfortunately, it’s not going down so well with us. Little Bear is more scared of it, but maybe the fun with the wand will come later. :)
It seems to be popular with other cats though.

No good
Not good at all for the money, picture not clear and thought it was a wooden pole , not plastic. Feathers were dropping off this before even taking it out of the box. Much smaller than the picture suggests. Will not be buying this again , my Savannah's would reck this in seconds given the chance.

Feather dancer is better received
My two 14-month-old tomcats aren't impressed with the Crinkle Dancer. After I cut off the crinkle ribbon, they gave it a sniff. The Feather Dancer is much, much more popular with both of them. They go absolutely wild for it. I'll definitely be ordering that one again next time.

Short-lived pleasure
On the first day, my Bengal was totally crazy about this wand. However, during the first play session, the movable part came off the stick. We managed to fix it back together, but it never regained the excitement of the first day.

Disappointed
I’m disappointed with the fishing rod, I expected much better, especially after all the good reviews. The quality isn’t high, and my cat isn’t crazy about it. I’d much more recommend the feather dancer – I’ve already bought three of them, it’s my cat’s favourite toy.

Doesn't last any longer than a 50-cent fishing rod.
I ordered the fishing rod based on the good reviews on Zooplus.de, but personally, I can't see any difference between this 'made in USA' rod and a much cheaper alternative.
The rod has already lost quite a few feathers, and that crinkly stuff in the middle of the rod isn't all that impressive either.
My cat does enjoy playing with the rod a lot, but since the feathers keep falling out one after the other, it's not really usable after a short time.

Great toy, but...
Our two 1-year-old tomcats loved this toy right from the start. They were absolutely crazy about this wand. But after about 3–4 hours of total playtime, the wand was done for. The feathers didn’t last long, and in the end, the whole fluffy bit fell off the wand. Such a shame—our indoor tigers are going to be disappointed.
