I've been using the bird sand for a short while now and I'm very satisfied with it. It also has a pleasant aniseed scent.

I’ve tried out a lot of bird sand over the years, but the one from Versele-Laga is by far, by a long shot, the best. Sure, it’s a bit more expensive, but it’s definitely worth the investment (:

My budgies love this and I was very pleased that I could get it delivered as it is very heavy! It smells pleasant and seems to keep the droppings in little clumps (like cat litter) so is easy to skim off the top to keep things nice and clean in between a full clean out.

I am happy with the bird sand. It smells very fresh and is so fine that everything can be cleaned easily!
