I adopted my dog when he was 1.5 years old. Before that, he was fed all sorts of things and always had stomach problems. After working with and trying out single-protein foods for another year, we’ve now found a food that he truly tolerates 100%!

Our dogs really enjoy eating the InsectDog Hypoallergenic and it suits them very well. In the past, their digestion was all over the place, but ever since we started feeding them InsectDog, there haven’t been any problems anymore.

After trying all kinds of wet food and even cooking myself, I ended up sticking with this hypoallergenic dry food due to my dog's food allergy. She hardly gets or barely eats hypoallergenic wet food from another brand anymore. Even though I'm a strong advocate for wet food, I'm more satisfied with this food. My dog licks herself less or hardly at all. Her ears are in perfect condition, and she loves it so much that I can barely get the bowl on the floor. Sustainability is also great 👍

Our dog (Ridgeback mix) tolerates the hypoallergenic food very well. We use the variant with red lentils as an alternative.

My dog loves the food, and my friend's dog is always super jealous! It's relatively very affordable for a hypoallergenic food, and I think it's great that it's climate-positive and made in Germany, without animal testing or factory farming. I believe insect protein is the future.

My dog is allergic to many things, including poultry, which is why I bought this. Unfortunately, the kibble is too large, so I have to break it up or soak it.

My dog is severely allergic to almost everything... both grains and meat. My dog was in such a bad state that euthanasia was being considered if things didn’t improve soon, as the skin rashes kept getting worse. He had almost no fur left... and I didn’t want to let him suffer by just leaving things as they were. Thank goodness someone gave me the tip about Insect Doc... it saved my dog’s life.

My Labrador lady (10 years old) constantly had yeast infections in her ears and recurring ear infections. My last hope was to change her food. Shortly after switching to InsectDog hypoallergenic, everything cleared up, and since then, her ears have been sparkling clean. We’re thrilled. Even the vet is impressed, so we’re definitely sticking with it. Of course, it’s important not to include any other animal protein sources—only insects, no liver sausage sandwiches ;-)—and for snacks, just fruit and vegetables.

My female dog reacted allergically to every possible type and form of meat (wet, dry, raw, home-cooked) with red skin, excessive licking of her paws and rear, and itching. After 2 weeks of InsectDog, none of that was noticeable anymore ❤️

My Snoopy has skin problems, the cause of which couldn’t be determined even after several visits to a dermatologist. He was also picky about his high-quality grain-free food. By chance, I recently came across this food, and lo and behold, the bowl is emptied in no time, and I think he’s not scratching himself as much anymore. I’m thrilled! Next, I would have had to do an expensive coat analysis—maybe I can spare myself that now :-)

It costs €38. 49 on Zooplus in other countries!!! That's the biggest increase I have ever seen here. The food is great. My 15yo dog is in great condition. We have changed petfood few years ago when he experienced health issues. Insect proteins are much better absorbed. P. S. To the person who gives 1 star saying it's awful and their dogs don't eat it. It only says that you feed your dog with highly processed, chemical petfood that attracts them more. This one is not processed so much and smelly

I can't comment on the taste; she eats pretty much everything – typical Labrador. However, her digestion has been stable and firm since, after numerous bouts of diarrhoea and smelly stools (with no evidence of illness).

We have a very sensitive German Shepherd male, almost 1.5 years old. We completely switched his food all at once. The result: normal stool, normal stool consistency, and no more constant scratching and licking. Actually, no scratching at all anymore. We can also do without the constant use of Moro carrot soup. It finally seems like we’ve found the right food.

My 2-year-old Galga suffers from food intolerance, which mainly manifests as itching, scratching, and licking. After almost 3 weeks of using InsectDog, nothing has changed. She really likes the taste, but she doesn’t seem to digest it at all. 4-5 bowel movements a day.

We had long-standing issues with various types and brands of dog food until an intolerance to pretty much everything was diagnosed. Ever since we started feeding this food, everything's been great. All the problems are gone, and our dog actually enjoys eating it. The individual kibble pieces are a perfect size for our Lab mix, and the food doesn’t smell much either. I’m convinced. We’ve been feeding it for half a year now, and everything’s still going perfectly 👍🏼
