Unfortunately, my dog (Greater Swiss Mountain Dog) didn’t take to the cushion. Both the noise it made when she lay down and the lack of shape stability, which was especially noticeable when she jumped on it, didn’t sit well with her. It might be fine for other dogs, but it wasn’t suitable for mine.

Initially, the surface crackles a bit when the dog steps onto the cushion, but that goes away over time. The filling could be a bit fuller, as the cushion tends to flatten out over time.

This bed seems to be quite robust and hard wearing, Cooper is happy with it, but it is much much larger than expected - my boxer could easily have had the smaller size as the large size is way large!

I expected more. Our Great Dane is definitely thrilled, as it's great for lying down, but once she jumped onto the mat while playing and there was already a tear in the surface that I had to patch up.

The cushion has lasted almost 4 years now and is still great! We have it on the terrace for our Aussie dog. Unfortunately, it has faded quite a bit due to the sun, but its functionality remains intact. I would buy it again anytime! Truly unbeatable for the price!

Comfortable cushion, but because of its black colour, it gets very hot in the sun and unfortunately only lasts about half a year. After that, the surface is cracked all over, as our Labrador likes to drag it across the courtyard paving to where he wants it. We've already worn out two of them in just over a year.

I bought the cushion for our German Shepherd and am very disappointed. The surface is unpleasant and makes an annoyingly loud noise when the dog lies down or shifts into another position on it. The filling is uneven and lumpy. I will be getting rid of this cushion and buying a new one.

Had the cushion in the car for my bulldog... it's cosy and was happily used... so it also needed washing... and after a few washes, that was the end of it... the cover started to crumble and after a year it was so thin you could see the inlay... ended up being thrown away after a year... well, for this price it's okay but only somewhat durable... a shame.

After being extremely satisfied with the "Brown Dogs" cushion, we decided to treat our Eurasier to this one as well ;-). It was accepted without any issues and seems to be comfortable. Thanks to the long zip, the cover can be easily removed and washed. So far, I haven’t experienced the problem often mentioned here, where the inner coating of the cover "disintegrates," either with this cushion or the old one. I’ve washed the black cover once so far, but the light-coloured cover at least five times already, and still no signs of wear and tear! I wash the covers in the machine – but using the "hand wash" programme. However, I wouldn’t recommend this cushion for noise-sensitive dogs! Since mine loves "crinkly sacks" – it’s perfect!

Dear folks, I keep hearing people say that the cushion isn’t waterproof. However, the description clearly states that it is only "water-resistant." It’s also explicitly mentioned that water can seep through the seams, so it shouldn’t be left out in the rain. Therefore, it’s better to read the description carefully before ordering. A dog can, however, lie on it without any issues even with wet fur. I find the cushion visually appealing and good value for money; it has thick padding, and my dogs love lying on it. In winter, I put a cosy blanket on top, and in summer, it stays nice and cool. Of course, the cover isn’t soft and cuddly, as the cushion is meant to be water-resistant, which makes the material stiffer. You need to decide what you want. But with a blanket, it can be made cosy.

This dog bed seemed to be of good quality initially and its thickness seemed even. However, it was noisy whenever my dog tried to walk/sleep in/turn around in it. In addition, it got chewed up in the following fortnight, so it didn't last very long!

We've had the cushion for 1.5 years now, using it indoors in the dog basket. Visually, it's very pretty. Unfortunately, it's now starting to fall apart. Since our Vizsla female is already 15 years old, I need to be able to remove and wash the cover more frequently. Taking it off and putting it back on was super easy. However, after about the third wash, part of the inner layer of the cover starts to come off (black powder everywhere), and the inner cushion (fleece with stuffing) tears because the cover and inner cushion stick together. Not very cosy, so it's not really suitable for dogs that get cold easily. I do think, however, that it might work better as an outdoor cushion, on the terrace, etc., as long as it doesn't get wet too often.

For me, it was important that the new dog bed was primarily hygienic and practical. This one ticks all the boxes, but I do understand some of the reviews regarding the noise and comfort. It really has an air mattress-like feel, but what else can you expect when you want a hygienic bed that you can wipe down in between? That’s simply not possible with super-soft plush teddy fabric, for example. No wonder some people report torn covers after washing them in the machine. This is meant for hand washing!!! The surface gets damaged by machine washing, and fabric softeners ruin the material, similar to what happens with a water-repellent winter jacket. Not recommended for very young, sensitive, or easily startled dogs due to the noise. On the positive side, it has a cooling function thanks to the fabric, which is perfect for summer. My Weimaraner loves the bed, and I’ve finally found a beautiful and hygienic option! :)

The cushion immediately appealed to me because it’s very hygienic for me, wipeable and washable. However, our puppy doesn’t really like going there to sleep, as it’s simply too cool and not cosy enough. I always need to add a blanket now, which means you can’t see the lovely cushion anymore.

I ordered this cushion a week ago and will be ordering a second one straight away. Great value for money and it looks absolutely gorgeous too. Our dogs love it. I've had much more expensive cushions before that looked really shabby after a short time. If this cushion lasts a year, the investment will have been well worth it.

I previously bought one of these beds and although my dog loved it the quality and durability was sadly lacking. The new version is much sturdier yet still as comfortable and the dog still loves it. It is now a very good buy and I am sure it will last a lot longer than the previous one. I would recommend it.

After 4 months of using the pillow, the inner lining started to crumble and looked like a starry sky. This pillow is not sturdy enough for large dogs.

Value for money is absolutely spot on.
