My tomcat got the scratching board for Christmas. He absolutely loved it, but bits of cardboard ended up scattered all over the house. There were even pieces in his water bowl, on the hammock in the scratching post, and especially all over the living room. I've now thrown it away, which I feel bad about because he used it so enthusiastically. But I prefer the nice scratching house, as the bits stay inside with that one.

My two cats didn’t take to it at first. After I turned it upside down so it was standing on its head, they accepted it and started using it enthusiastically. As soon as the wallpaper starts to catch their interest, a new flat scratching board will be brought into the house.

My tomcats got this Cat Lounge as a Christmas gift, and it looked quite good at first. However, after their usual enthusiastic dash towards a scratching board, we heard a loud clapping noise and realised that the thing tips over quite badly on the sides! No, it wasn’t so popular after that. Sitting on it carefully isn’t really their style. Zoolove 2in1 is definitely the best choice again.

Our British Shorthair little ones were already familiar with this scratching furniture from the breeder, and it’s used all the time. The second one has already been ordered.

It crumbles very quickly. I regularly turn it over, so the actual underside ends up on top. But after a short time, bits of cardboard are flying around. I don’t even put the catnip on it, which always comes with it. And yet he still goes straight for it. I use the catnip on other things. My tomcat absolutely loves this catnip. It’s a shame you can’t buy it separately.

As a scratching board, it's well-suited, but overall it's very, very bulky and massive. Somehow, I misjudged the dimensions. If it's not built into something like it is for us, it looks extremely bulky. On the plus side, it's very sturdy.

But it's well received and definitely nice to look at. Size, height, and length are also fine. It stands in the kitchen next to a cupboard, and there's always a cat lying on it or scratching away happily. But there was once a caterpillar – the cats were absolutely thrilled with it and really went to town on it. This was meant to be the alternative, but unfortunately, it doesn't quite measure up.

All in all, a great-looking and visually appealing product, even though it has a slight chemical smell. However, my three completely ignore it, and even Catnip spray or Feliway don’t help to make it appealing to them, despite the fact that they generally love cardboard or paper. At most, they give it a sceptical glance. I’ve also heard from several other cat owners who’ve had the same experience. Such a shame. Since it’s probably down to the cats and not the product itself, I’m still giving it 3 stars.

The lounge is very popular with us. Everyone scratches and takes turns lying on it to sleep! Something like this is a must-have in a cat household :-)

I gave this scratching board to a friend who owns a cat, and I’ll be getting one for myself soon. Her cat absolutely loves it. The cat fits comfortably on the board, sleeps on it a lot, and often uses it for scratching. Personally, I think the design is really cute. The price-performance ratio is spot on for me.

To be honest, I bought Cat Lounge because it looks cute. My cats love it and immediately jumped on it.

He really likes it. It's big and he can scratch with all four paws at once. He lies down on it doubled up to rest. It doesn't lose its shape. Perfect for its purpose.

My cats are obsessed with sharpening their claws, so cardboard is absolutely essential in our lives. The shape of this one is brilliant, it can even double as an armchair. The material is a bit sturdier than regular cardboard, so my house isn’t covered in bits of cardboard. Highly recommend.

My Maine Coon does have a cat tree that's the right size for him, but he loves his cardboard scratcher. He uses it for his claws but also likes to rest on it.

I've had lots of scratching boards before, but this one is by far the best! My Mohrli 🐱 absolutely loves it. Above all, it doesn't tip over easily when she scratches on it.
