Great item, cats love it, unfortunately a completely different colour (dark green-brown) instead of blue.

...doesn't play by the rules +g* if he gets hold of the feather thing, he wants to drag it away, and if you try to take it from him, he gets angry...so unfortunately, it's rather unsuitable for us :(

Lovely idea, as the rods are thicker, but the feather toy often gets dragged around, and if it gets very wet, it stains – the pink part, that is. Also, it tangles quite easily, unfortunately. But the fun factor is definitely there. My cat loves it.

A big thumbs up from me as well. My cat only likes real feathers, rabbit fur, or light spots. This wand here seems to have just the right movement, a nicely stretchable elastic band, and is quite sturdily attached. I think the whole product is much more durable than it looks. (Also, the feathers – I think it's fine if one or two fly off as a reward :)) It's a shame that you can't choose the colours yourself. So far, I've received pink, light blue, and black. Unfortunately, the light blue isn't as elegant as in the photo but rather a bright light blue. Apart from the colours, I find the toy overall visually appealing, even for my eyes.

The feathers come off really quickly, end up all over the flat, and stick to my cat's mouth. He didn’t find that funny either! An absolute waste of money!!

I keep the fishing rod in a drawer that my cats can't open themselves. If I open it and don't pay attention, they've already run off with the rod. This toy is addictive, for both humans and animals. Brilliant!

I got myself a new cat, and at first, the fishing rod toy wasn’t interesting, but two days later she was absolutely thrilled with it. Now that she always knows where the rod is and fetches it herself, you instantly know it’s playtime!

My cat has loved the cat wand from the very beginning. She was already standing next to me when I was unpacking it, and ever since, the cat wand with the blue feather boa has been her absolute favourite toy. It seems sturdy enough, and the elastic band has so far withstood all her "chewing attempts." Highly recommended!

I've ordered the play wands several times now because my cats are absolutely crazy about them. Unfortunately, the feathers always show wear and tear quite quickly, as my kitties love dragging them into the bathtub or shower... especially when it's still wet. But otherwise, SUPER and really recommendable!

Overall, our cats are not particularly interested in the feathers.

This fishing rod is fantastic. My Bengals love it, and even my chunky tomcat can't resist the feather boa. My cat can keep herself entertained with it for hours, and even when I'm not joining in, she plays with it on her own. When I try to put it away, she meows so heartbreakingly until I keep playing with her... The only thing is, the stick could be a bit longer. All in all, I’d buy it again.

Our Siamese cat only plays with this wand now! He doesn’t care about anything else, even though he has plenty of toys to play with. Ever since we got this wand (about 3 weeks ago), he actually gets tired from playing (and so do I), since I’m usually the one holding it. He drags it around everywhere, through all the rooms. If I put it away (-: he desperately searches for it. In the evening, I have to hide it! Otherwise, he’d probably play with it all night. From me, 10 stars!

Our little British Shorthair goes absolutely wild when playing with the fishing rod toy. She never takes her eyes off it and fights it with all her might and full body effort ;-) I do find the elastic band a bit dangerous though, so you really need to be careful.

My big tomcat isn’t interested in this fishing rod at all, but my little one would chase the feather for hours. You do have to watch your hands though ;) That’s why 5 stars, brilliant *thumbs up*

So, this is my first post, but I just have to share my thoughts on this brilliant cat wand. Our two furry friends only play with this now; all the others are completely ignored (and we have quite a few ;)). Despite my initial scepticism, the quality is excellent! Our tomcat is really a little rascal, yet the tassels and feathers are still intact after 2 months. All in all, a MUST-HAVE for every cat lover.

My Siamese girl loves this fishing rod. As soon as I take it out, she goes absolutely wild... unfortunately, it doesn’t last very long. But honestly, it’s no surprise, considering how wildly she plays with it!!!

I've had this play wand for my two tigers for quite some time now. I have to say, I'm thrilled. Even after a good three weeks, it hasn't lost many feathers and is still in great shape! Highly recommended for the price!

My playful cats absolutely love it, even though the colours take a bit of getting used to. If "someone" wants to play with the wand, the feather tuft sometimes ends up in their mouth, and the wand gets carried over to me ;)
