Great toy with a minor flaw
My cat's absolute favourite toy. Unfortunately, the rod has broken. The feathers lasted quite a long time, and even when a few fall out, the fun is only slightly diminished. It would be interesting to know what dye was used to colour the feathers, as the cat tends to put them in its mouth quite quickly.

He loves her, but...
He's absolutely crazy about it, but they break quickly. It's now only his second favourite. The spiked balls have taken its place. ;)

Used to be great - now a flop
I was always aware that the feather boa wouldn’t last very long, which is why I always ordered it in a pack of three. At that price, you can deal with a broken wand.
But now, it’s not even worth that anymore.
Luckily, I have a cat who eats everything but spits out anything “gross” that isn’t cat food. I’ve noticed that these green feathers fall apart much faster than the old ones.
I also find that the boa with the feathers is much less elastic than it used to be. When I started playing with the “old” ones, my cat would go crazy straight away. Now she has to slobber and tug on the thing to make it “elastic” first – this often reduces her enjoyment of play. When a new wand arrives, she often doesn’t feel like playing at all at first...
The worst part, though:
The boa is now attached to the stick with a stiff cord instead of an elastic band.
My cat likes to carry things around (far away from me) before thoroughly destroying her toy – but that’s now COMPLETELY impossible because the cord is simply too short and rigid.
My cat used to love doing flips with the wand, but thanks to the even cheaper material, that’s no longer possible because the boa and cord don’t give at all.
This thing only gets played with now if it’s been hidden for days and other toys have been around in the meantime... such a shame, because I really loved the boa at first =(
Back when it wasn’t available in this toxic green colour.

my boys went crazy
my 2 tom cats went mental for this toy. even the lazy one!
However, it was destroyed in a couple of plays and now I have to "tape" the feather in every time I play with them.
Its a wonderful tory but it really does not last, the quality could be improved.
Its cheap so maybe it make up the poor quality ?

Not recommended!
If the cat manages to grab hold of the feather boa while playing (which inevitably happens...), the feather boa sheds little feathers that the cat can get in its mouth and potentially swallow. Certainly not great for their health, especially since the feathers are dyed! Better to stick to cat wands with real feathers – they’re much sturdier!

Fishing rod
Our tomcat (12 years old) is turning into a young whippersnapper. He's frolicking around like a little rascal.
The fishing rod is highly recommended.

Unfortunately, without an elastic band
My tomcat loved the feather boa as long as it was attached to the stick with an elastic band. Unfortunately, the feather boa is now fixed with a non-elastic band, which reduces the fun of playing.

Quite alright
This cat wand keeps our Bengal entertained time and time again. Unfortunately, the quality is only satisfactory, as the feather gets shredded after a few days (pieces get swallowed). The stick also tends to get chewed and doesn’t last very long. Fine for a bit of variety, but otherwise, I’d recommend a feather wand with a wooden stick.

Brilliant!!
Because the lead is elastic, everything is much easier.

fab ticklers
Kittens loved these, but wrecked them in no time. I bought a pack of two. Jajah in particular kept stealing it, and would entertain himself if I was not danglin it.

The tomcat likes it.
I can only agree with the positive opinions; it really is a great toy. One point deducted because you can't choose the colour yourself, and I ended up with the feather wand in a terribly ugly light pink, at least in my opinion.

Can be swallowed!
To be honest, I leave my cats alone with their toys and don’t tidy everything up when I leave the flat. That’s a mistake with the Boa, because unfortunately the rod isn’t very durable and the individual parts can be swallowed. Luckily, my tomcat threw up like he does with hairballs. We’ll stick to the tried-and-tested feather wands instead.

Good thing it comes as a twin pack...
Our two kittens are thrilled – with all the toys. Our greedy kitten even loves the elastic string, and it had to take the hit – she chewed through it after three days, but you can just tie it back together, and we still have a feather boa in reserve. Unlike feather wands, I really appreciate the rods when they have an elastic band, as it allows for safer yet still wild play.

My cat even feeds it!
My two boys can't wait for play time with this dangler pole. One of them will accept no other toy. It must be the feather boa with elastic. When he's done playing, he always drags it into the kitchen and puts it in his food bowl.

Feathers - the hit
The fishing rod with feathers is an ABSOLUTE HIT with my two little rascals! Great value for money.

Always good for a bit of fun...
My cat is absolutely thrilled with the "Feather Boa" cat wand. If I ignore her desire to play for a short while, she even drags the wand behind me (!) – at that point, the human has simply lost and has to make time for a little play session... The play wand is highly recommended at any time!!!

A highlight
When playing with these fishing rods, my two go absolutely wild, like "Schmitz' cat" :-)
I've already ordered these rods twice; unfortunately, I had to dispose of the first ones due to giardia.
These things are really durable. During playtime, they regularly get grabbed in their little mouths and dragged off to a safe spot (with me in tow) :-)
However, I would really love it if the sticks were made of wood instead of plastic... My tomcat loves to chew on them....
Maybe a suggestion for the manufacturer?
