Normally, my two tomcats are quite sceptical when it comes to poultry, and they don’t like certain herbs at all. But with this, they absolutely pounced on it, and it agreed with them as well – I’ll be trying out the tins next...

MAC's Pouch - This used to be the favourite food of my three cats. Ever since it’s been offered in new packaging, not even our "stray tomcat" will eat it anymore. It seems like it’s not just the packaging that’s changed. Such a shame, we’ll be switching back to Catzfine Food wet food now.

I’ve now ordered a second variety of MAC’s to try out a different type of food, but none of our four furry friends touched it. I’ll be donating the rest to the local pet food aid organisation.

My cat tried the product but left most of it untouched. So, the enthusiasm was rather limited. It might be down to the fish flavour, which she doesn’t like. I’ll give the chicken version a go next. Let’s see if that goes down better.

Might be a bit pricey, but this food is absolutely brilliant!!! My kittens go crazy for it. Great composition, wonderful smell, and the appearance is totally convincing. I’ll definitely be ordering it again. The price isn’t overpriced though, as the food is tasty and filling. Nothing gets left in the bowl either.

Herring and shrimp are sooo soft that I was able to feed it to my very sick cat without any problems! She was actually a dry food junkie and mostly refused wet food. Herring and shrimp are probably very flavourful, though the smell... um... yeah... takes some getting used to. The mushy consistency was extremely helpful in this particular situation. My tomcat, who is a committed wet food eater, however, put it in reverse with this food (and other varieties too). ;)

The food is relatively soft since it’s fish. Charly and Lotta both didn’t like it at all! On top of that, it starts to smell strongly of fish after a short time, to the point where I didn’t want to stay near the source of the smell. Well – that’s just my subjective impression. It simply didn’t work for us, though I have to say my two don’t particularly like fish, not even tuna. That’s why I’m giving two stars instead of just one.

The food slid out of the bag in solid form. The added fat was layered on top like a sheet. I already thought to myself, "This definitely won't go down well with my cats." I tried to remove the fat, dissolve it in a small bowl with hot water, and then mix it with the chopped-up food. But even then, both of my cats turned their noses up after two or three bites and walked away. Such a shame, really!

My 8-year-old FIV cat loves the tins from MACS, but he doesn’t care for these pouches at all. I suspect it’s because of the herbs.

My two cats don't like the food.

We recently attended a pedigree cat exhibition. There was a breeder of Bengal cats there. She had a cat on her arm, and since the breeder was wearing a black T-shirt, I noticed that there were absolutely no hairs on her shirt. At the time, our two (we have two Bengal cats) were shedding a lot. She asked me what I was feeding them and said that it was very poor-quality food and that I should switch to Mac's. I've been feeding them this food for a few weeks now, and the shedding has almost stopped. Since the food is so nutritious, one pouch (100g) is enough for both cats per day, plus some dry food. They can't manage more than that. I can only recommend it. You’ll need to try out which flavours they like.

Super ingredients, thumbs up for that! My extremely spoiled cat doesn’t exactly dive into it, but she eats it bit by bit. It seems to be quite filling, as she spent the whole day on a pouch of Pure Chicken. That really speaks for the quality. Five stars for that. I definitely recommend it!

Unassuming packaging with a big impact inside. Both of my cats pounce on it, and one of them is really picky... will definitely order again!!!!!

... how the bowl gets completely cleaned out. We've never seen anything like it. Great for allergy sufferers. I'm happy to pay more for it.

I tried "Chicken Pure" to test it. My cat immediately pounced on the food, and suddenly the bowl was empty. He seems to have really enjoyed it! The digestibility was great too—no diarrhoea or anything else that can sometimes happen with a change of food. I'll be trying other flavours as well.

I tried the salmon and poultry with cranberries flavour, and my cat found it really tasty! This variety is very juicy and not too dry, and it was gobbled up straight away. A clear recommendation from me!

Over the past two years, I’ve tried out many types of wet food for my two cats, but none of them were a hit—they always just wanted to eat their dry food or went on hunger strike. With MAC’s wet food, the bowl gets completely emptied, and they even ask for more. Finally, a high-quality food that tastes good!

My cat vomited after eating this food, it had a really strange fishy smell. I reported it to support and got a refund, but you should be careful because not every cat will vomit. Be careful and don't choose the shrimp flavour.

Excellent for my tomcat’s tastes! MAC’s was recommended to me by ChatGPT! It was described to me as good quality food! My tomcat usually gets bored quickly with certain foods… but he still likes MAC’s!

My cat loves this range in pouches! Not the same quality as the canned ones, they're softer and more appetising.

My cats completely refuse it and don’t even try it, they just sniff and sit in front of it hungry. I waited a few days and opened the next packet, but again they didn’t touch it! Strange, because my cats usually eat well. Absolute waste of money.

It has a really bad smell and the cats won’t even look at it, even though it was expensive!

My tomcat eats it without fuss... before, it was only Sheba and the like. Finally, he likes healthy food!
