Not a good experience with tortoises.
The wood chips were partially eaten by my tortoise, which is certainly unhealthy. Additionally, the hard, small chips stuck firmly to the sensitive penis when urinating and were not wiped off when retracting it, but remained attached, which must have been very painful. I will not be using these beech wood chips again.

XXL BHG for the budgie aviary...just brilliant!
Tried this BHG for the first time and I have to say... simply brilliant! It looks great, empty husks and little feathers don’t get stirred up as much when fluttering around, and it always looks clean since droppings and feathers hardly stand out on it. It has a pleasant light beechwood scent and doesn’t create any dust at all.
The best part: I dispose of it in our fireplace! ;-)
A fantastic product that I won’t want to do without in the future.

XXL grain size for my royal pythons
About a year ago, I bought this substrate for my royal pythons and I'm very happy with it. It also smells neutral.

Perfect for quails!
I got this medium-grain bedding for my quails because it was recommended by many breeders, and I can only say TOP! The quails feel completely at ease and are laying diligently—much better than wood shavings!

Chipsi Extra Beechwood Shavings in Medium
I ordered "Chipsi Extra Beechwood Shavings" in Medium for my bird aviary. I'm thrilled with how easy it is to handle, and it also looks neat and tidy. My budgies have accepted the new bedding (previously bird sand) without hesitation. However, that's mainly because none of my budgies ever go near the cage floor.

Super activity!
I ordered the medium corn granulate for the digging boxes of my three hamsters to give them more variety.
I’m really impressed, and so are the hamsters – they’re constantly digging, burrowing, and busying themselves in there.

Grey parrot
Actually, my grey parrot is a real scaredy-cat and he never used to go to the bottom of his cage. But ever since I started using this bedding, he really enjoys running around and digging on the floor. He also always throws fruit and food out of his bowl, but now he walks around on the floor and eats his fruit and seeds, which he never did before with the sand (but that's understandable).

Simply brilliant
My four cockatiels are very happy with this product. I can only recommend it as well – not only does it look nice and clean, there’s no more dust, and the bedding is very economical. Just don’t forget to put a small dish of sand with bird grit next to it. It’s a shame I can’t buy such supplements here!!! So, in the future, we’ll be skipping the dusty bird sand.

Our Cockatoo
He has so much fun with the wood shavings. He spends hours "digging" in them and rearranging the floor design. Adding wood pieces extends the fun even further. We mix the bedding with coarse sand.
Great for large birds.

Turtles
Hello, I've been using Chipsi Extra XXL as substrate for my tortoise since August this year, and I have to say it's absolutely brilliant. I used to have bark mulch before, but Chipsi is much better, cleaner, and more hygienic, and my tortoise feels very comfortable in it.

Our Amazons
Love this bedding (XXL)! We've been using it for years for our 2.5 m³ aviary and are super happy with it! Our green ones also love nibbling on it from time to time :)

Superb stuff!
I've been using this bedding for quite some time now with my two cockatiels and I'm very satisfied. It's very low in dust and the smell is much less noticeable compared to sand. However, you should make sure to provide a small dish with grit, as the birds need the small stones for digestion.

Optimal
I only use beech wood chips for my black-headed parrot now. It's clean, dust-free, and doesn't smell.

Super alternative!!!!
Great alternative to bird sand – I’ve covered one half of the aviary with wood shavings and the other half with bird sand. It binds the feathers a little. My little feathered friends took to it straight away.

Super - also great for keeping my African grey parrot entertained
I've only been using the bedding for a few days, but I have to say: I can remove the old fruit and droppings from the cage much more easily every day, and I need to top up significantly less compared to using sand. However, my African grey parrot has taken to throwing the bedding out, which he finds great fun – me, not so much, obviously.

Super bedding
We use the XXL granules for the parrot finch and the guinea pigs. There's nothing better. The cages stay clean until it's time to change the bedding, and hardly anything falls out. Great product, very fast delivery, just as you'd expect from zooplus.

Super comfortable
And my budgies love nibbling on it. I put grit (which unfortunately isn’t available here) in a separate little dish. The shavings don’t create dust, are pretty odour-neutral, and can be disposed of on the compost.
