No success
Even after four weeks of use, our two Collies are still plagued by ticks. Unfortunately, the product hasn’t worked in these two cases. Due to the cost as well, I sadly cannot recommend the powder. Such a shame!

Severe intolerances - Zooplus refuses to accept the complaint
Unfortunately, none of my pets tolerated this product. They were scratching like crazy. We went to the vet and determined that there were no parasites or other illnesses. It’s very clear that it was caused by the powder. Thankfully, the extreme scratching stopped again after discontinuing its use. Zooplus is now refusing to accept the complaint. "Just because your pets cannot tolerate the product 7091.1 Luposan Zeckweg - 1200 g or have an allergic reaction to it is not a reason for a complaint." I’ve never known Zooplus to have such poor customer service and such a cheeky tone. It’s really a shame – both because of the intolerable product and the now very inadequate service from Zooplus.

Absolute recommendation to buy!
Our two giant fur monsters (White Shepherd/Irish Wolfhound and a Collie/Shepherd mix) have been using Zeckweg for half a year now – 1. far fewer ticks compared to spot-on treatments, and 2. they shed significantly less – noticeably from the second day onwards – an absolute dream!

Finally found the perfect alternative to spot-on!
For about 2 months now, our dog has been getting 2 scoops of Zeckweg mixed directly into his wet food every day. There have been no issues with it, such as food refusal.
The powder has its own smell – not strong, but noticeable. Hektor now has a slight scent of it too, which isn’t really bothersome.
We live in Bavaria, a hotspot for ticks. Last year, despite using a spot-on treatment from the vet, he constantly had ticks that latched on but then died. Since he had a liver inflammation and an eczema on his belly that just wouldn’t heal, I decided to look into the issue more closely. A product that coats the body with toxins for weeks and kills ticks might not be the healthiest option for a dog that’s already prone to health issues. By chance, I came across Zeckweg and ordered it because of the good reviews – I was a bit sceptical, I admit. But I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed with the results. So far, he hasn’t had a single tick, even though other dog owners at the park have told me that this year has been particularly bad for those little pests. I can truly recommend it!

Super product*
We've been feeding Luposan Zeckweg for just under 2 weeks now. Our Golden Retriever male gets 2 measuring spoons, and our Springer Spaniel female gets 1 measuring spoon.
By the 3rd day (forest walk), our female dog didn’t have a single tick, while I still had to pick some off our male dog.
Since then, our male dog has had about 6-8 ticks (without Luposan, he would probably have had significantly more), but our female hasn’t had a single one.
I’m going to increase the dose for our male by 1 measuring spoon and will report back. I’m really happy to have finally found an effective remedy against these pests!

It also works well as flea repellent!
Our Elo male has brought fleas into the house several times this year, despite the very expensive Seresto collar! There were even ticks on occasion.
I ended up removing the collar.
For the past three weeks, our dog has been getting Zeckweg mixed into his food, and since then, he hasn’t picked up any fleas from other dogs.
His skin and coat look fantastic, and our Elo now enjoys his food with the Zeckweg powder even more.
I always mix the powder with a bit of water or cottage cheese so it doesn’t get too dusty when he eats.

Helps well!
Our Jessi was really helped by Zeckweg this year. I think there were only 2 ticks in total that I had to remove. Otherwise, it used to be at least 2 a day! :-/

Unfortunately, not the right fit for us...
First things first: our Aussie male is a true "tick magnet". On some days, we've removed up to 6 embedded ticks from him. Not to mention all the ones we pick out of his fur during or after walks.
He really loved Luposan Zeckweg; I even felt like he was even more eager for his food. He tolerated it well too. However, I didn’t feel like it helped much. He still had plenty of ticks. Maybe only the chemical solution will work for him, but I’d prefer to avoid that if possible. I’ll now try out some other homeopathic remedies.

no more chemical nasties
I'm glad I've finally found a natural product against ticks. Only had one tick this year. Now that's what I call success :-)

Pleasant product that the dog likes too
We live in a tick-prone area and usually find a lot of ticks on our Old German Shepherd. However, with Luposan Zeckweg, there were far fewer ticks after a short time, and eventually none at all.
Additionally, the powder smells pleasant and seems to taste very good to our dog. All in all, a great product.

Surprisingly good!
I wouldn’t have believed it, but it actually works. I’ve been adding Zeckweg to my dog’s food since the beginning of April, and I’m absolutely thrilled. My dog has had significantly fewer ticks this season compared to usual. A great alternative to the typical chemical treatments.

Great for coat & skin but not sufficient as tick protection!
Our white Swiss Shepherd (a tick magnet!) has already devoured two large tubs since his arrival last October, but the ticks continued to swarm him, even in massive numbers (up to 60 per week, and that in late autumn!!!).
Even during the winter months, we still found them, and since Luposan Zeckweg simply didn’t work for him, we started mixing fresh garlic into his food halfway through the second large tub. That helped a bit more, but still not enough!
In the meantime, he no longer gets !!!ANY Zeckweg!!!, even though he liked it and his skin and coat were certainly in great condition. This is still achieved through our own additions, such as brewer’s yeast, egg, etc., and also Luposan "Kräuterkraft," which we are very satisfied with.
The "pests" themselves are now far more successfully repelled by us using a homeopathic remedy called "Ledum C30" and the additional application of a naturally plant-based "Mild Defence Formula."
Conclusion: In our case, Zeckweg doesn’t work against ticks, but it does benefit skin and coat!

Ineffective
I bought Luposan Zeckweg for my two mixed-breed dogs. Unfortunately, the powder had absolutely no effect. My "little one" stopped eating his food with the powder after about three weeks. I also had the feeling that he was suffering from constant stomach pain. Despite feeding both dogs the powder twice a day for around five weeks in the prescribed amount, it didn’t work for either of them, and both were reluctant to eat their food with the powder. In the end, I threw the tub in the bin. My conclusion: It’s completely useless.

Amazing!!!
I wouldn’t have believed it—I’ve always been an advocate of the "only chemicals work" camp until now. However, my two (Giant and Miniature Schnauzers) have been using this for a few weeks, and the results are remarkable. Just 4 ticks on 2 dogs over a period of 3 weeks… before, I couldn’t keep up with picking them off! And we’re almost exclusively in the woods and tall meadows. Thumbs up :D

Very good experience
We’ve tried many things for our Labrador lady, and ever since we’ve been giving her this remedy for a few years now, it’s been pretty much calm. Once a week is fine.

Great product
I’ve been giving my dog this tick remedy from the very beginning and I’m really impressed with it. My dog rarely gets ticks, and I also love that it’s not chemical!

Super!!!
Well, with our two dogs, it works wonderfully—no more ticks, and we live in Styria, the tick country.
The smell of the powder isn’t too bad (garlic).
I’ve already bought the larger container now.
