Animonda vom Feinsten kitten food is a hit with many cats and kittens, who enjoy its taste and variety. The high meat content and appealing smell make it a favorite, with clean bowls as proof. However, there are concerns about occasional large pieces in the food. Despite this, most kittens devour it eagerly, and it's recommended for its quality and satisfaction. Overall, it's a popular choice for finicky eaters.
Highly palatable
Good portion size
High meat content
Occasional large pieces in the food
Not suitable for consistent use due to quality concerns

Pleasant
My very taste- and smell-sensitive kittens (Selkirk Rex and Persian/British Shorthair mix) absolutely love this food, thank goodness, and they clean their bowls with appetite. However, I did have to remove a small bone piece two or three times.

Good food, but be careful!
My two little tomcats (11 weeks old) quite enjoy eating it and rarely leave even a crumb in the bowl.
However, I’ve now found fairly large bone splinters (!!!) in the poultry dish twice, which in my opinion shouldn’t happen with such high-quality food! After all, the little ones could have died if I hadn’t noticed and they had swallowed the bones.

Good food
The food gets eaten, but it doesn't exactly knock my little one off her feet.

Even our senior enjoys it.
Our little Sunny (Siamese tomcat), 14 weeks old, likes this food, even though he's not a big "eater". Senior Mitscho (15 years old) is also very impressed.

Popular choice
Even though my little foodie prefers food with chunks, she really likes this one as well.

Favourite munchies
Of all the varieties we've tried, this is my Cleopatra's favourite. She's now 7 months old, and if she wants it, she'll still be getting this kitten food even as a senior ;-)

Not always...
My little witch usually prefers food with chunks rather than mush, but every few days, Animonda is acceptable and then gets completely devoured with pleasure.

Maffi unfortunately doesn't like it!
Couldn't get my little furry friend excited about this. He sniffed it once and was off. But he absolutely loves Animonda Cuisine!

Tasty,...
An absolute ray of sunshine for our two little kittens. They turn their noses up at Hills and prefer Animonda trays. Our cats would definitely recommend it...

The cat likes it, I don't so much.
My tomcat is thrilled, though I’m not quite as impressed due to the ingredients. For the price, there’s better food out there, but at least it’s better than the stuff you see advertised every day. 😉

Great for the little ones
My tomcat really enjoyed eating the food and, most importantly, tolerated it well, which was a stroke of luck since he gets diarrhoea very easily. Now he's 8 months old and seems to think he's no longer a "baby," as he won't eat it anymore.

Good compatibility
Our cats tolerate this food very well. Their stools are firm and hardly smell as a result. Even the little ones took to it straight away and never had diarrhoea during the change of food. It's a shame, though, that this food is only available in small trays.

Yummy yummy
The small pots are devoured, by the way, as the only food from Animonda. But the little one is very picky anyway, so I’m glad she loves eating this meat so much. Great food, without sugar, I’m completely satisfied. Even the big one, who usually only touches dry food, has a lick. Brilliant!

smack, smack
Our two Persian kittens are fed not only the Animonda pouches for kittens but also the Kittenfutter vom Feinsten in trays. Both varieties (poultry/meat) are very popular with them. However, I discovered a third variety (lamb pots) at the pet store. They really like that one too. Maybe it will be available at Zooplus soon? We're big Animonda fans!

Super!
Well tolerated, eagerly eaten, and contains no sugar!
I’m very pleased with this food – and so are my two kittens.

Both varieties TOP
I fed both the poultry and the meat bowls, and my cat devoured everything in record time, leaving nothing behind. Definitely highly recommended in terms of the meat content as well.

refused
Well, our little domestic shorthair kitten only had a quick taste and then refused the wet food (which we kept refilling fresh) for two days. The food in the bowl was "almost" rotten.. ;-))
I really don’t know why, guess I’ll just go back to the usual mix-and-match feeding routine.

It tastes...
Surely, there are better premium foods out there... But what's the point of trying everything if our little ones don't like it? The little ones have already had to taste many of the highly praised varieties, but both of them find Animonda vom Feinsten for kittens delicious. At least it doesn't contain sugar (caramel) or any artificial colouring or preservatives. Hence the five stars. We alternate Animonda vom Feinsten with Vet-Concept, and occasionally they get steamed fish, raw beef and lamb, and dry food from Royal Canin and Precept. The little ones are full of energy and have coats as soft as if they'd been rinsed with Lenor. We'll see if they still love it once they've had their first mice... I'll keep you posted. Just a small note – there are some Animonda varieties that do contain caramel...

Not well tolerated
I tried the varieties over several days. It seems to contain good flavouring agents. Our two little cats eat it like crazy, if only there wasn’t the nasty surprise in the litter box afterwards. Both have smelly flatulence and diarrhoea—such a shame! I’ve now switched to Almo Nature, which is better tolerated.
