Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There’s hardly a childhood photo of me without a budgie perched on my head or a cat curled up on my lap. Whether as a cat mum, a pet sitter for friends or as a volunteer and member of an animal welfare association – four-legged and feathered companions are truly close to my heart.

My experiences with my own pets and those of friends have sharpened my understanding of their quirks and needs. This inspires me to share my knowledge in the zooplus Magazine, offering others ideas for a caring and responsible approach to our animal housemates.
