About Franziska G. | Veterinarian & Author, zooplus Pet Magazine
As a veterinarian, I have specialised both professionally and in my doctoral thesis in identifying and assessing antibiotic resistance in bacteria. This subject is particularly close to my heart, as it affects not only animals but is also closely linked to human health and our environment – a key principle of the so-called One Health approach.
In the zooplus Magazine, I write not only about infectious diseases in animals but also about general topics relating to animal health. I believe it is important to share medical knowledge in a clear and practical way, so you can better understand and support your pet. As an enthusiastic dog owner, I bring first-hand everyday experience that enriches my educational work.
