The very best catfood!I have 2 Burmese cats who have been on a raw food diet for a few years which was great but somewhat exhausting! Orejen is HIGH in protein full of nutrients all so important for cats, they love it and look wonderful on it. Nicola, Nutritionist, Oxford.

Happy Healthy Holistic KittiesI recently tried this food and it is excellent!!! my cats adore it and the kibble is small enough even for the oldies (some who lack the necessary dental equipment) to wrap whatever remains of their "laughing gear" around! I am very impressed by the herbal content as I have used herbs for many years on some very ill and/or abused cats and I've had some amazing success stories where conventional drug treatment had failed. This food is for me and mine and I will be ordering more and recommending it to my equally fussy feline fanatic friends.

High Quality Grain Free FoodI have tried Hill's Science Plan, Royal Canin Sensitive and by far Orijen is the healthiest option. Unlike the rest, it contains no cheap meat-by-products or grain. It costs more, but then meat does cost more than grain and leftovers. My 6 month old burmese kittens are thriving on it and eat as much as they want when they want. I do agree with the recent reviewer who mentions it is not suitable for cats with sensitive tummys. One of my kittens has a sensitive stomach (hence why I used to use Royal Canin Sensitive food) and when fed Orijen his stool can occasionally be soft and this is a big problem as the stools can stick to his bottom and then get smeared across the carpet and all over the house :) But this only happens occasionally. When it comes to the quality of the ingredients, you can't get better...unless you live in USA then you can get Innova Evo.

Do not give this to a cat with a sensitive tummy!Okay so I know I'm in the minority here but I bought these biscuits for my Ragdoll based on the fab reviews and the good quality ingredients. I do not doubt that these are good biscuits but not for a cat with a tendency to have the 'runs' on a regular basis. We have been awoken each night since buying them by a cat with a very messy bottom! Another reviewer mentions an odour about the cat when fed these biscuits and I have to agree that there is a 'meaty / beefy' smell in the house now. Not that pleasant. So if you have a beloved cat with a sensitive tummy, these are not for you. From the fool who bought the 7kg bag! Our local rescue centre will be in for a treat. I'm sure they are fine for 'normal' cats.

Best ever!I wish I'd discovered Orijen years ago. All my cats love it and are thriving on it. I was a bit concerned about cost, but as they need to eat less of it, it compares well with other quality foods, plus their coats are better than ever. I've tried every kind of food and this is simply the best, by a long way. If, like me, you have dogs, I recommend you feed them Orijen too!

Still the best!My cats have been fed Orijen since they were 10 weeks old and a year later they are in the best possible health. The don't gorge themselves on it, but instead go back to their bowl and have a few bites whenever they are hungry. It is the perfect cat food and I recommend it constantly!

Be Aware!I bought this as one of my cats was having skin allergy issues and I wanted a food that was free of rubbish. I have four cats and they all enjoyed it but after about a month one of my girls started to get cystisis regularly and I couldn't understand why. I realised it had started after I changed their food, she had never had a problem of this kind before. I switched to Burns and James Wellbeloved and had no problems since. Most feline experts would not advise such a high protein diet for an adult cat as it strains the kidneys. So just be aware that this might not be the food for your moggie.

A few nigglesI like to make sure my cats have a good quality food. One of mine is getting a bit fat and the way Hills and Royal Canin appear to have hypnotised him and he goes mental over in it, which isn't that healthy. I hear the stuff in them, the carbs is addictive. I am using up some of that mixed in with the Orijen but ultimately it will just be Orijen, just about 3 months to go, lol. Anyway, they don't seem into Orijen as much, but it does nearly all get eaten, they look good on it, and it doesn't give one of them the squits (sensitive tummy). What I do not like about Orijen is the packaging. It means it isn't kept fresh after opening. So I would recommend you purchase a food bag from zooplus, it goes in there perfectly.

Wow!I can't belive I didn't just get my cat this from the start. He's finished a 2.5kg bag and have just started a 7kg bag, and he's never felt more soft and he's got such beautiful fur. I'm thinking of trying the new fish one as well, but we'll stick with Orijen from now on.

Highly Recommended! As he approached his first birthday my cat looked as though he was starting to get a bit podgy and lazy even though I had been feeding high quality kitten food. Switched to feed Orijen in combination with a pure fish wet food and he clearly has lost weight, is much more playful and active and has the most wonderful glossy coat. Another positive side effect, some other reviews mentioned as well, is that his poo hardly smells and is much more solid. I can't recommend this highly enough!

Fantastic food - happy catsThis is the only food (I feed it mixed with a cardboard carton food) that stops our cats from being a nuisance and wanting food every time I walk past their bowls! I though it was normal cat behaviour to ask for food through out the day , Orijen has shown this to be false. They waste nothing, but always seem contented and satisfied - the vet always comments on their good health and coats. Economical as they eat less and waste none. Highly recommended.

EXCELLENT STUFFmy cat is thriving and healthy and has the most amazing silky coat. all he eats is orijen and i give him a few cans of pink salmon a week. to those whose cats turn their noses up- if they have no choice, they will eat when they get hungry. some other foods have additives that are addictive- bit like a child wanting pudding instead of carrots! but the proof is in his health and well being. i wouldn't give him anything else.

The only dry food you should use!!In Britain it is extremely difficult to get your hands on cat/kitten food that is of excellent quality. Don't get fobbed off with Hills or Wellbeloved. You read the content and it is full of poor quality ingrediants and unnecessary grains used basically as filler. This stuff is brilliant!! I wasn't going to feed my two kittens on dry food due to the health problems associated with it. But this used along side a high quality wet food such as Applaws or Cosmo is working a treat. My two, now 4 month old, kittens are coming along lovely. They are full of energy and have beautiful silky coats. What more can you ask for!
