This kennel is coated with sanded asphalt roof paper, which makes the Spike Classic Dog Kennel weather and winter proof. The wide roof overhang protects the entrance against rain. Additionally the four feet are covered with rubber soles to protect the dog house from moisture, while facilitating good air circulation.
Arrives in a flat pack with clear and precise instructions. And additional plus: the kennel is easy to clean and assembles with only a few screws.
All you need to assemble this kennel is a screwdriver!
Attention:Your dog kennel should never be too big for your dog - meaning if your dog's own body heat is not sufficient to maintain a warm temperature inside, a smaller kennel is recommended to prevent your pet from freezing.
Tip: Place a blanket on the floor of the kennel to make your dog feel at home.

bought the small for large (5.5kg) long bodied cat,ideal size uses it no problem,nice and sturdy,no difficulties in assembling,some screw holes not quite in right place but did not cause huge problem and given the price can't complain ,highly recommend good quality product.. stunned by the very fast delivery,ordered 12.05am,dispatched 5.05am received next day approx 1pm that's what I call service...,brilliant!!

Good value for money
I bought the xxlarge which is plenty big enough for two fully grown labs. Very easy to put together needing only two sizes of screwdriver. I completed this on my own in about 45 mins but would be easier with two pair of hands.
Very sturdy but not too heavy to be unable to move. Ideal for shade in the summer and rain showers. Not purchased as a permanent outside shelter, both dogs live in the house. Would probably consider one with door cover and extra insulation for this use.

exceptional value for money
got this kennel for our adult springer spaniel who sadly has dementia and causes problems with the other dogs in the big kennel. this is ideal for him size wise and was so easy to put together. you couldnt make one the same yourself for less money. i would definately recommend this for someone who wants their dog outside while homeowner is out.

Excellent product
I bought the small version for my cat (who is larger than most dogs at 2m fully stretched! ). The kennel is really easy to put together, I managed on my own, you just need a screwdriver. Once built it is very sturdy but also easy to move around.

Very sturdy!
Bought this for my spaniel/terrier cross when he developed a touch of agoraphobia after I cut down a lot of the shrubs in the garden! It didn't take long to assemble at all, with good, clear directions, but it is easier with two people. Very sturdy - very pleased with it.

Great Dog House
Took me no longer than 30 mins to assemble - all parts labeled, directions were easy. It's very sturdy and attractive - my dog is VERY happy.

Great Buy!!!
I was looking for a cute outdoor shelter for my two cats who love being in the garden day and night. This is perfect, speedy delivery and easily put together. Will buy another as one cat loves it so much the other struggles to get in!! Highly recommended.

My Extra Large Dog Kennel

Shelter From the Rain
My Alaskan Malamute likes to sit outside but when it rains she gets soaked.
The kennel took about an hour to unpack and assemble. Now she can sit outside but at lease in the dry.

HAPPY CAT!
New back doors meant no cat flap for Twiglet. Bought this online on Wednesday evening, it was delivered in perfect condition Friday morning. Very easy to assemble and is very sturdy and well made. Excellent value.

Cat House!
We bought the Spike Standard dog kennel for any of our cats who wish to use it. It is so smart and well-made, it would not look out of place as part of our furniture, rather than either in our conservatory or out in the garden in the sunshine. The cats love it. We bring it in at night and in the rain, as with our cats, but suffice to say - we are all very pleased with this product, and award it a highly-recommended score 10 out of 10!

it s a lovely home for my doggie,solid wood ,its been rained few times dry and cosy inside and also very easy to assemble and it s a bargain.only one thing i have a 4 months old labrodor and i ordered large one. seems like a bit small already :( just pay attention about the size)

New home for goats
We are really pleased with the product - just as described. Very easy to assemble - took us about 15 minutes in the pouring rain! Good solid construction. We bought it for our young dwarf goats - (they have a big house too).

BRILLLLLLIANT!
I have just put my dog kennel up for my dog. He was out on a run with my mum and it was a bit of a supprise when he saw it because he jumped streight in it. I also brought a plastic door thing (that you will find on this website)that makes sure your dog will be warm and cosy and wind-free! Now I was able to but his favourite big cussion in so he would be even warmer!

A Happy Home
Being a busy working couple there are times when we have to leave our Ridgeback outside for a few hours at a time. She has proved she can't be trusted in the house just yet(we come back to the place being wrecked!!)and with winter setting in we wanted a suitable shelter for her. Saw this product online, ordered it and have to say it arrived very quickly, was put up in about 15 minutes and it is great. Mimi (our 6 month old, 5 1/2 stone already Ridgeback)loves it!! She will get bigger yet but there is plenty of room as we decided on buying the larger product.
All in all a good price, fast delivery and very impressed!! Would recommend to anyone...
