Royal Canin Mini Mature dry dog food caters to the unique characteristics of adult dogs of small breeds (1 - 10 kg) from 8 years:

Fights symptoms of old age: a synergistic complex of anti-oxidants (vitamins C and E, polyphenols from grapes and green tea) alleviates oxidative stress and may thus fight symptoms of old age.
- Vitamin C: this oxidation inhibitor works its effect in the spaces between cells and, amongst other benefits, supports the regeneration of vitamin E, which may then launch another attack against free radicals. Although dogs are able to synthesize vitamin C, a supplement helps greatly to fight oxidative stress.
- Vitamin E: this vitamin protects the cell structures from attacks by free radicals. Numerous studies on humans have proved the significance of vitamin E for the prevention of certain illnesses.
- Polyphenols from grapes and green tea: these work their antioxidant effect within cells by protecting the DNA of the cell nucleus. With the help of polyphenols, ageing of the cells, the risk of cancer, heart and circulatory diseases and infections may be reduced.
Maintenance of ideal weight: L-carnitine helps stimulate the metabolism of fat reserves and reduces fat storage, thus helping to maintain the ideal weight.
Enhanced palatability: carefully selected nutrients and natural flavours ensure maximum acceptance. Special texture, shape and size of kibble help satisfy even fussy appetites
