Food too rich in protein can often risk further compromising an already hampered pair of kidneys.
Integra Protect Renal contains only the highest grade of protein in order to compensate for your cat's need to consume protein in relatively small quantities. Deficient Kidneys also make a small increase in the level of Vitamin D3 necessary.
The ease with which cats can digest Integra Protect Renal sets it apart from its competitors. In the interest of promoting optimal nutritional levels in your pet, the recommended daily ration should be divided amongst three meals a day if at all possible.
Calcium:Phosphorous ratio: 1,29:1
Recommended feeding period: initially up to 6 months. If the diet food is recommended with acute renal failure, the feeding period should last for 2-4 weeks. Please always offer fresh water. Before feeding or extending the feeding period it is recommended to seek veterinary advice. It can also be recommended to feed the diet food with acute renal insufficiency.
