Integra Protect - Renal

Integra Protect Renal is a special easily-digestible food for cats that suffer from renal or kidney failure. With a high acceptance rate, it contains a decrease in protein and phospherous content.

Cats with limited renal functionality and/or kidney failure require a special diet with a reduced content of protein and phosphorus (low phosphorus).

In addition to this, only a certain amount of the protein metabolism's waste can be excreted through the kidneys, and protein levels that are too high in food will therefore affect the cat's renal function.

The proteins in Integra Protect Renal dry feed are very high-quality, in spite of the physically reduced levels of protein, which fully meets the needs of the cat. The impaired renal activity also necessitates a need for a slight increase in the amount of vitamin D3.

Integra Protect Renal dry cat food supports the direct therapy recommended by vets and can be combined well with Integra Protect Renal wet food.


Ingredients:
rice, corn, poultry fat, wheat flour, corn gluten, poultry protein hydrolized, poultry meat meal, sugar beet pieces, oats, poultry liver, fish oil, greaves meal, potato starch, minerals, yucca schidigera


Manufacturer feeding recommendations:

Weight of cat Amount (in gramms per day)
3 to 5kg 45 to 65g
Recommended duration: for up to six months. The recommended duration of the feed is a period of 2-4 weeks. Please provide fresh water for your cat. Please consult your veterinarian if you are considering extending this feeding period beyond the guidelines above. This diet can be used even in cases of extreme renal failure.
