Product description
Soft clumping and non-sticky pellets, reduce the amount of litter carried out, super absorbent, very economical, with odour-binding fibre technology, low-dust, made from secondary raw materials
Cat's Best Smart Pellets cat litter is ideal for long-haired cats as the pellets are non-sticky. Thanks to the smooth surface, the pellets do not stick to fur or paws. Cat's Best Smart Pellets is a soft clumping litter and consists of 100% natural active wood fibres, it is biodegradable and compostable.
Thanks to the odour-binding active wood fibre technology, odours and moisture can be permanently bound. Cat's Best Smart Pellets form particularly soft clumps. These are particularly favoured by cats who refuse to go to the toilet if there are excessive clumps. The soft clumps are easy to remove. The remaining litter can remain in the litter tray for longer. The cat litter is therefore more economical than other litters. The basic filling lasts up to 3 weeks.
Cat's Best Smart Pellets work best if you simply dispose of the solid faeces and the lumps that form after going to the toilet regularly in the residual waste or the household toilet* (*please observe local regulations).
Cat's Best Smart Pellets cat litter at a glance:
- Soft clumping cat litter made from pellets
- Non-sticky, ideal for long-haired cats thanks to the smooth surface of the pellets, reduces litter shedding
- 100% natural active wood fibres: as they occur everywhere in nature
- Extremely odour-binding, naturally fragrant - without artificial additives (pure natural product)
- Absorbs up to 7 times the volume of the litter: first-class absorbency for dry paws and optimum bonding
- Very economical: basic filling lasts up to 3 weeks, more economical than conventional cat litter
- 100% biodegradable & compostable: individual clumps can be disposed of directly in the household toilet* or in residual waste (*please observe local regulations)
- Sustainable: the wood fibres are made from secondary raw materials, no trees are felled
- Low-dust and gentle on paws
- Easier to transport - up to 40% lighter than mineral litter
Disposal instructions:
Please only put individual lumps of waste into the toilet at a time, leave to dissolve for a while and then flush thoroughly. The water must be able to flush the clumps sufficiently. Only then put the next clump into the toilet. It is easier if you crush the clumps a little beforehand with the litter scoop.
Household toilets are not suitable for the disposal and emptying of used toilet fills. Please follow the local disposal regulations for organic waste bins, compost or residual waste.

Big drop in quality!
This used to be really good, large pellets, no mess, but over the last few months the quality has dropped massively. Lots of saw dust , creating more mess . Won't be buying this anymore unfortunately.

The formula has changed
This was my go-to litter for many years, but they recently changed something in the formula. The new formula is much dustier, doesn't clamp as well, and the pellets are smaller and darker in color. Shame!

Excellent cat litter
This isn’t the cheapest of cat litters but I feel it’s worth the money as it clumps well and there’s no tracking. I’ve used it for decades as it’s the best litter

Very good
I've been using this litter for a few years now. Before that, I tested loads of different ones across all price ranges. My tomcat used to scatter everything across the hallway and kitchen. I had to clean up after him every single time. With the pellets, the cleaning has come to an end. At first, my cat found the litter a bit strange, but after a day, he started using it normally. Occasionally, 3-4 pellets end up outside the litter box, but that's nothing compared to before. I'm sticking with it, and my flat doesn't smell either. Unfortunately, it's quite pricey.

Our bedding
For my cats and me, this is the best litter so far – hardly any smell, doesn’t spread around the house, and doesn’t stick to their paws.
Cons: You end up removing quite a lot when clearing out the clumps, and the clumping quality varies depending on the batch (it always clumps well, but sometimes the clumps crumble a bit).

Product has changed!
I have been using these pellets for years and years. Everyone who comes to mine always says you can never smell cats or cat litter and I always refer them to this brand. However, over the last few months, this cat litter appears to have had a change. The pellets do not clump the same anymore, the litter is darker in colour and the quality just isn’t the same anymore. I have sadly had to find and source an alternative. Such a shame as I loved this once upon a time

Used to be very good.
It used to bind urine very well and didn’t stick to the fur. Unfortunately, the pellets now crumble after a very short time. In that case, you might as well use the regular Cat's Best. Although, sadly, that no longer matches its previous quality either. I’ve now completely switched brands.

Getting worse again
The litter has gotten worse again.
It no longer clumps.
The quality of Cat's Best is very inconsistent.
With the high price, you'd expect better.
I'll give it one more try now.
Otherwise, I'll switch to a cheap brand.

Significantly worsened...
For several months now, the previously great product has significantly deteriorated! The pellets are smaller, crumble easily, and turn into powder in the litter tray. They scatter everywhere again because they’re much lighter than before. They form poorer clumps, and the smell of urine appears much faster! None of this used to happen before. So why has a great product been made worse?? This is very frustrating...

Not as good anymore
The past 2 bags have been disappointing and no longer clump properly leaving bits of dirty litter throughout the tray. Which means it is smellier and messier than in the past as you can’t riddle it properly. Cancelling my subscription and going back to the old Cats best. Shame as this used to be better with less tracking but not worth the extra money anymore.

Best litter
Top. Clumps well, easy to clean. With many types of litter, I often felt it smelled like urine. With this one, I have to say, it's almost unbelievably odourless. Our tomcat took to it straight away.

Search for the perfect litter finally over!
For the past six months, I’ve been ordering the Smart Pellets from Cat’s Best every month, and I have to say, no more litter around the flat, no more litter in the bed. It’s very easy to clean up if a few pellets end up next to the litter box after use! I used to have the regular clumping litter from Cat’s Best, but these pellets are simply even better. My darling Timmy and his mum are completely satisfied and much more relaxed since I’m no longer swearing and complaining about the mess 😊🐈.

Very satisfied
I’ve tried various types of litter from Cats Best, and for me, it’s clear—the pellets are the best! They clump urine well, don’t smell, don’t create dust, and hardly get tracked out. The other types either smell, don’t clump properly, or are dusty, so they’re not as advertised.

Quality has dropped
My cat has been using this cat litter for a few years. I have always been very pleased with this product; it's eco-friendly, clumps well, and has no odor, though it's expensive. However, the quality has dropped a lot in the last few months. Pallets at the bottom of the bag, comprising at least one-fifth of the bag, are like sawdust!

For long-haired cats, the best!
For years, I bought the other, finer version because these wood fibres are simply the most environmentally friendly. The problem with my long-haired cats, of course, was litter everywhere in the flat... At first, I was worried that my tigers wouldn’t accept this coarser litter. But over several weeks, I just gradually mixed more and more of the new litter in. And now the litter has been completely switched over. They all use it, no problems, and significantly less litter around the flat! Brilliant!

Quality reduction
So far, the litter from Cat's Best has been great. However, since the last order, the quality has really gone downhill... The litter clumps, but it falls apart quickly when cleaning. Super annoying! Also, the surface of the pellets seems smoother than before. The woody smell is no longer there either.

Unfortunately, only available in the small size.
"One thing that really annoys me is the misleading presentation of the product variants. Several package sizes are offered that look visually similar but have nothing to do with the actual, excellent litter in terms of quality. If you choose a larger package, you end up with a product that doesn't even come close to having the same properties. The litter itself is somewhat expensive and the package is used up quickly, but it doesn't create dust and leaves no residue."

Very pleased, eco friendly and very Smart.
Hardly no dust and my cat has used it for years. The best on the market, you flush down the loo. Its Clumping formula is the best.
I have tried lots over the years and I can safely say smart pellets are the best.

Game changer
I was sceptical about the stated yield, but appearances can be deceiving – a large bag easily lasts me over 20 days with two tomcats (not outdoor cats!). The price is absolutely fine, the odour control is excellent, and the best part – my long-haired cats no longer drag litter all over the flat!
